Koyo (251) - SWEDEN - APR 2, 2011
Bottle from Systembolaget. Pours a dark amber, slightly red colour with a high white foam. Aroma hints of grass and hay, some caramel sweetness as well. Taste is pleasant, a crisp bitter finish preceeded by a medium bodied mouthfeel. This beer is nothing special though, nothing I would buy again.

Lalli (243) - Helsinki, FINLAND - MAR 21, 2009
0,5l bottle. Dark ruby red color. Aroma is malty, with hops and even a touch of smoked ham. Flavor is more dominated by fresh hops, but the malty body supports it well. Very nice brew.

Gusgus (232) - Mölndal, SWEDEN - APR 7, 2008
2008 Bottle. Dark amber to light red color. Very small head. Slight fruity from fermentation and hops. Blood orange and grape. Toasted malt. Flavor is medium big with low carbonation. Lightly roasted and balanced with sour citrusy hops. The bitterness becomes harsh as the beer warms. Fresh but anonymous.

lagomswedish (213) - Umeå, SWEDEN - APR 1, 2007
Bottle from Systembolaget. My second Swedish Easter beer of the night, and yet another English Strong Ale. This looked better than the Jämtlands, with a nice fluffy vanilla-white head and a rich, deep ruby body. Taste-wise though it had a little less character, with a thin mouthfeel and an almost mouldy bitterness. It didn’t taste fresh and it didn’t put me in the mood for Easter.......(although having said that very little does).

slakemythirst (190) - - MAR 26, 2012
Torkad frukt och toffee anar receptorerna. Lagom kropp. Ganska lång eftersmak. Trevlig beska. Slutsats: God men säkerligen vassare till påskgrubbet.

chribban (188) - SWEDEN - MAR 16, 2014
Easter ale from 2013. On the bottle it says: Best before august 2013.

Rubyred-orange beer that are a little hazy.
Two finger high, white, head that leaves lacing on the glass.

Nose: Caramel malt, dried fruit, mango, orange marmelade and oak.
Taste: Caramel, brown sugar, toffee, dark fruit, spices and malt.

I’m supriced this taste so good! Great nose and likewise taste! Best before seven months ago - I don’t think so! This is delicious!

I would say it’s even better now than when I tried it when it was fresh at easter 2013...

elosop (167) - SWEDEN - APR 19, 2014
Ljusröd med liten skumkrona. Viss citrus i aromen. Omedelbar beska som sitter kvar länge. Utöver humlen inte så många andra smaker. OK, men lite för bitter för påskbordet.

Croff (164) - Ostra Sonnarslov, SWEDEN - APR 3, 2010
This is the 2010 version. Pours a cloudy brownish amber. Small frothy head that fades to nothing fast. Mild aroma of sweet malty citrus fruit. Higher carbonation. Malty sweet flavor with hops, citrus, bit of caramel. Medium body. Somewhat crisp. Hop bitter citrus finish. It is a good brew, but not one of Oppigards better efforts.

Dunbar72 (134) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - MAR 16, 2012
Bottle. Pours amber with a beige, medium sized head. Hops, malt and caramel in the aroma. Hoppy to the taste, dry bitter finish. Medium body, bitterness and malt flavours lingers.
