A 0.5L bottle from Alko shop. Pale head. Dark coppery colour. Mild nose. Malty slightly sour taste. At the en hoppy bite. Not too sweet.

Dark brown body, white head. Aroma of flowery and grapefruity hops. Really overwhelming. Flavour has lots of hops and little malt. Maybe too little.

Det mesta av Oppigårds ales är olika tolkningar av IPor. Det här är en maltigare variant, väldigt lik deras julöl. Och det är en favorit varje år. I år (2011) dock något underlägsen Mikkellers påsköl. Som vanligt välbalanserad, men är humlen inte lite trött. Utgångsdatum i juli skvallrar kanske om att den inte är helt färsk. Hur som helst mycket god.

Bottle. Copper with a tan head leaving some lacing. Aroma: malt, nuts, toffee, pineapple, freshly baked bread. Taste: tropical hops, pineapple, nuts, toffee, fruit, slightly metallic, medium bitter. Medium-bodied with noticeable carbonation. No sensation, but will work well with the Easter dinner.

UPDATED: APR 4, 2009 Bottle. Brown color with a small beige head. Aroma: Hops, sweet and lightly roasted malt, caramel, tropical fruits, and citrus. Flavor: American hops, grape, fruitiness, caramel, toffee, light roastiness, dark bread, light saltiness. Bitter finish. Nice balance between hops and sweet malt. Re-rated 090403.

Bottle. Clear amber color with fine head. Very hoppy with clear fruity flavor just like a good IPA.

500 ml bottle. Aroma of caramel with sweet and spicy notes. Taste is sweet with caramel and burnt sugar, finish is a bit burnt

Dark dark red colour. Begie head. Aroma is nutty. Taste is nutty and malty.Good bitter finish.

Copper brown beer with small, velvet, beige head. Aroma is pleasant, exotic fruits, some roasted malts ja pine needles from hops. Flavour is quite strongly bitter, roasted, quite dry, slightly fusty and lot of pine needles. Nice to drink with balanced and low carbonation. Aroma was promised fruitfull and fresh beer but flavour was too compromised and fusty. Not bad beer but I have a feeling that this could has been better.
