Bottle. Dark amber colour with a small off-white head. Aroma is sweet, malty with some hops. The flavour is toffee, malt, citrus, hops with notes of fruits and some sweetness. Bitter finish. Quite nice medium-bodied brew.

Bottled. Dark copper, fluffy beige head. Good dark nutty aroma with quite strong herbal hops and toffee, even chocolate. Flavor is more of the same, nice hops (grass & some pine), nuttiness, little wood and cocoa, nicely balanced. Lingering herbal bitterness. Really smooth silky palate, perfect for the style. A great ESB, this one makes my easter alright.

I kategorin påsköl är alltid Oppigårds i topp. Bra aromer och smak av karamell och torkad frukt med en frisk beska. Välbalanserad, ett hantverk.

500 ml bottle. Copper color, tan head. Hoppy aroma with some chocolate. Notably bitter flavor with plenty of hops and unsweetened chocolate in the background. Medium body, medium carbonation. Definitely not what I expected from an easter ale -- a pleasant surprise.

Dark brown, medium head with good lacing. First impresion is loads of flowery hops. That developes into a more sweet maltiness with some tannies and coffee notes.Full bodied with some coffee like bitterness for finish. Unusual Swedish easter beer. Reminds me of an English strong ale from a micro wanting to be American. Somewhat unbalanced though. Needs a bit more sweetness. Smother as a real ale, I would like to hope :-)

Nice rich sweet, floral and slightly metallic hop aroma with hints of caramel and fruit. Malt taste with big hop flavors, caramel notes and a fruity citrus aroma. The aftertaste is dry and slightly bitter. A good beer!

Pours with a beautiful amber colour. Aroma of citrus and flowers, lovely. A little bitter taste, but a beer I wouldn´t mind drinking again.

Quite good, but there are eleventy billion Easter ales which taste just like this one.

Deep ruby red beer with a creamy but quite thin head.The aroma has plenty of english hops, herbs and sweetness of dried fruits. Dryish malts, some caramel and a hint of toffy in the middle. Herbal hops, dried fruits and woody bitterness in the finish. I noticed some ash in the finish too. The palate is medium bodied and quite bitter. Well balanced.

A gift from visitors to the store. Thanks! Sweet malty aromas. Medium bodied with good carbonation. Caramel, cereal, and nutty flavors with a nice hop balance. Overall an excellent English Strong Ale.
