Bottle. Dark amber colour with a small off-white head. Aroma is sweet, malty with some hops. The flavour is toffee, malt, citrus, hops with notes of fruits and some sweetness. Bitter finish. Quite nice medium-bodied brew.

Purchased at systembolaget in Goteborg sometime in the middle of April, 2011. Overall, this is a very robust ale, with good body and lots of flavor that definitely favored the hoppy side. Pours with a deep, dark amber color and a medium-sized off-white head. The lacing is very dense and sticky: the appearance is excellent. The aroma is reminiscent of pine, fruits (plums perhaps), and a hint of caramel. The mouth feel is somewhat creamy. The is taste is relatively complex: a bit herbal and fruity in the start, with a distinct bitterness in the finish that lingers on for a bit too long. A very good ale and one that I would buy again.

Dark amber, little hazy, small white head. Caramel and malt aroma. Malt sweetness apparent in the taste, some bread and sufficient bitterness. Good easter beer, but wasn’t it better last year?

Bottle. Pours clear amber with a small white head. Fruity and hoppy aroma with malt, caramel and hints of citrus. Pretty good, but a little too light in flavour. Fairly well balanced. Slightly bitter and citrusy finish with grapefruit. (2012-04-14) [Shared by Arve. Thanks!]

500 ml bottle. Brown colour. Crystal clear. Earthy malty aroma. Reminds me a little of a lager, or perhaps its just a well filtered ale. Nice malty flavours with a hint of smoked malts. Rich, but still very drinkable. Overall a very nice beer that is well balanced and could definitely be sold all year.

Butterscotch, nutty and caramel aroma with some tobaccoo. Amber clear colour. Heavy caramel in taste with low but sufficient bitterness. Medium body, semi dry low carbonation. An okay very caramelly ale
