Unclear orange-brown with a small, cream-white head. Some fruity hops, a mild spiciness and sweetish caramel malts. Well-balanced but not very bold. Good drinkability.

Oppigårds brukar kunna detta med säsongsöl. Årets påskbrygd är därför lite av en besvikelse, väldigt anonym och kort, ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Torkad frukt och toffee anar receptorerna. Lagom kropp. Ganska lång eftersmak. Trevlig beska. Slutsats: God men säkerligen vassare till påskgrubbet.

Bottle from Systembolaget. My second Swedish Easter beer of the night, and yet another English Strong Ale. This looked better than the Jämtlands, with a nice fluffy vanilla-white head and a rich, deep ruby body. Taste-wise though it had a little less character, with a thin mouthfeel and an almost mouldy bitterness. It didn’t taste fresh and it didn’t put me in the mood for Easter.......(although having said that very little does).

Quite good, but there are eleventy billion Easter ales which taste just like this one.

Deep amber, reddish colour with a tan head. Malty aroma with notes of caramel and nuts and a light hoppyness. Light roasted malty flavor with a weak coffee bitterness and a faint caramel sweetness. Dry, light bitter finish.

Bottle. Dark red colour with a stable tan head. Roasted aroma with some coffee and liquorice. Roasted flavour but with a slightly disturbing sourness.
