3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 fiulijn (12179) - Malmö, DENMARK - JUL 5, 2007
Dark amber color; big head. A quite solid brew, with some malt aroma and taste, stronger caramel aroma and flavor, some nice English hop aroma, some rubharb candies taste; but the end is simpler, with just a thin body and some caramel.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 ante (3374) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - MAR 30, 2006
Clear amber, medium sized beige head. Not very strong but pretty good aroma of orange-peels, peaches, nuts, grass and toffee. Quite hoppy flavour of grass and orange-peels with sweetnes from toffee and chocolate. Orangey finish, notes of chocolate. Medium bodied. Acceptable easter offering.
3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 Rastacouere (6042) - Montreal, Quebec, CANADA - JUN 10, 2007
A grainy, spicy, toasty nose where the blueberry jam, milk chocolate and tomato seeds form an original and hard to describe nose. Quite tight. Following in the same registry, the palate is malty, with a dose of earthy hops and wild flowers, roots toi follow up. Rather salty (celery salt) bitterness. Original flavours in a toasted malt foundatrion. A bit more residual sugars than I’d want, especially that the body does not put them to good use, feeling quite airy and paradoxally creamy yet foamy, never biting, but never full. Lager-like mouthfeel.
3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 Kalli (502) - Falun, SWEDEN - APR 6, 2009
Touch of toffee on the aroma but mainly somewhat citrusy hops. Mild and balanced in the mouth with touch roasty and caramely malts complimented by the citrusy hops. Pleasant and satisfying.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20 MrWalker (926) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - MAR 31, 2006
Bottle Dark brown, medium head with good lacing. First impresion is loads of flowery hops. That developes into a more sweet maltiness with some tannies and coffee notes.Full bodied with some coffee like bitterness for finish. Unusual Swedish easter beer. Reminds me of an English strong ale from a micro wanting to be American. Somewhat unbalanced though. Needs a bit more sweetness. Smother as a real ale, I would like to hope :-)

Smallish brown head. Deep red body with ongoing carbonation. Sweetish, mealy roasty caramel aroma with hop notes. Dry watery resiny burnt malt taste with smoky yeasty notes. Sharpish mouthfeel. Bitter, burnt almond aftertaste. Very nice. (0.5l bottle at Oliver Twist.)
