2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 13/20
Pours a clear orange with an off-white dimminishing head. Quite bitter with lots of hoppy notes. Somewhat grape-fruity. Some malt tones behind the hops. Medium bodied. The beer gets some (not so good) caramel notes as it ages in the glass. Low carbonation. Long bitter and hoppy finish.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
System Bolaget Straight golden see-through pour. The small, yet firm head is white and manages to hang there for most of the (short) time span it takes to drink it. This is no sipper, rather fresh, hay-like malts with a fruity tang, kinda sweetish(vanilla?). Flavors keep on, but an unexpected citrusy and grassy bitterness finds its way. Fresh smelling, well extracted ingredients, subtle, grassy and floral hops. Yep, this works, no world-beater, but well-integrated recipe for what seems to be their base beer. A nice and refreshing ale that feels pehaps a bit lighter than it is.
