2.5 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Bottled - GBBF2007. A bright, golden ale. The aroma is sticky and sweet. Some buttery malts. The taste is crisp and grassy. Again some sweet notes. Very average.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
System Bolaget Straight golden see-through pour. The small, yet firm head is white and manages to hang there for most of the (short) time span it takes to drink it. This is no sipper, rather fresh, hay-like malts with a fruity tang, kinda sweetish(vanilla?). Flavors keep on, but an unexpected citrusy and grassy bitterness finds its way. Fresh smelling, well extracted ingredients, subtle, grassy and floral hops. Yep, this works, no world-beater, but well-integrated recipe for what seems to be their base beer. A nice and refreshing ale that feels pehaps a bit lighter than it is.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottle. Golden with a big white head. Nose is grassy and malty. Flavour is on the sweet malty side, but good hoppiness provides for a quite dry finish. Good carbonation. Well-made, but a bit boring.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle. Thick creamy head over a slightly hazed light amber body. Malty and nutty aroma along with some distinct hoppy scents; hay, grass and citrus. Taste is hopbitter too, well balanced with sweetish malt. Notes of spices and grapefruit. Good body. Dry and mild. Lingering bitter finish. Very nice!
