System Bolaget Straight golden see-through pour. The small, yet firm head is white and manages to hang there for most of the (short) time span it takes to drink it. This is no sipper, rather fresh, hay-like malts with a fruity tang, kinda sweetish(vanilla?). Flavors keep on, but an unexpected citrusy and grassy bitterness finds its way. Fresh smelling, well extracted ingredients, subtle, grassy and floral hops. Yep, this works, no world-beater, but well-integrated recipe for what seems to be their base beer. A nice and refreshing ale that feels pehaps a bit lighter than it is.

Bottle. Golden with a big white head. Nose is grassy and malty. Flavour is on the sweet malty side, but good hoppiness provides for a quite dry finish. Good carbonation. Well-made, but a bit boring.

Bottle. Thick creamy head over a slightly hazed light amber body. Malty and nutty aroma along with some distinct hoppy scents; hay, grass and citrus. Taste is hopbitter too, well balanced with sweetish malt. Notes of spices and grapefruit. Good body. Dry and mild. Lingering bitter finish. Very nice!

Bottle. High and lasting creamy white head. Clear golden body. Sweet aroma of apple pear and peaches. Dry and hoppy flavor not sweet as indicated by the aroma. Lovely long dry aftertaste.

Courtesy of omhper. Pours gold with a thin white head. Smells of citrus, pepper, light malt and grass. Tastes of perfumy flowers, pepper, soap, citrus, some sweet hints. Decent.

Bottle at home. Pours a pleasant golden colour with thin white head. Very hoppy flavour with a hint of citrus. Reminiscent of an IPA, but with a more bitter finish. A decent beer, but nothing extraordinary.

Bottle. Clear golden with a firm a long-lasting white head. Grassy, citrusy hop aroma, not much malt character. Descent mouthfeel, a little too much bitterness for so litte malt flavour.

Warm golden, with a nice, creamy head. The aroma is refreshing, crisp and fruity. The mouthfeel is rather full and the flavour is very crisp, quenching and fruity with notes of caramel and honey. The finish is long and citrussy. 1861

Bottle from Systembolaget. They call it golden. I’d called it a standard-looking pilsner. Ale character shows through in the nose, with hoppy fruit. Distinct peach or apricot flavour upfront (this ale’s most noticeable feature) followed by a long and biting bitter finish.

Bottle. Clear golden colour, white steady head. Hoppy and fruity aroma, apricot + peach. Flavour is hops with a rather bitter finish.
