3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
UPDATED: NOV 24, 2006 Oh my, you’re missing all the great stuff.
Aroma: a fine flowery and very fresh hopscent, tempting malt, creamy fruityness, caramelized sugar. Vaguely of vanilla, juniper berry and pine. Dry lavender. Appearance: Rustic golden towards amber, a perforated cream colored head on top that just lies there and looks strange. Flavor: Good, full-bodied bitterness, very well balanced, a hint of soapyness which is wonderful, all in all very good. Palate: Good, rough, full-bodied and easily drunk!

(Bottled, Man in the Moon, Stockholm) Colour is golden, pale amber, quickly disappearing head. Slightly hazy. Nose is fruity, grassy with citrus and apricots and some rubbery notes. Taste is fruity (mandarines, apricots) with a nice aromatic hoppy finish. Well balanced. Not brilliant, but nice.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottle at RBESG Grand Tasting, August 2005. Golden colour (no surprise there). Some light grassy hop, backed up by slightly grainy malt. Not unpleasant, but rather dull. It may have suffered in comparison tot he bigger beers I sampled just before. I’ll give it another go if I get the chance.
