Purchased at systembolaget in Goteborg sometime in the middle of April, 2011. Overall, this is a very robust ale, with good body and lots of flavor. It was a bit more hoppy than what I expected from a blonde. Pours with a deep amber color and a medium-sized off-white head. The lacing is very dense and sticky: the appearance is excellent. The aroma is grassy, fruity, malty and sweet, but a tad bit metallic. The mouth feel is somewhat oily, but a bit too flat I suppose, which is surprising considering the density of the head. The is taste is relatively complex, starting out with a hoppy kick that’s reminiscent of its grassy aroma. The bitterness dissipates a bit during the finish, which bring out some of the sweeter malty notes. A very good blonde, but with a balance that clearly favors hops.

Aroma: The smell is full of citric orange like notes complemented with tropical fruits, anisette and some metal.
Appearance: A golden hazy beer with a foamy high off-white head leaving good lacing.
Taste: The beer is sweet, tropical juicy fruit gum flavors, with a well balanced bitterness
Palate: A low carbonation, a fresh soft feeling, good body with a sazzy dryness.
Overall: Not bad the extra hops complemented and worked well with the rather tranquile standard blonde ale.
Note: This was a special hop infused Golden Ale with Nelson Sauvin, at SB&WF 2011. Reviewed 2011-10-01.

Bottle from the Systembolaget Hansacompagniet, Malmo. Poured a crystal clear straw colour with a thin broken white head and a little lace with a few bubbles. The aroma is light maly, yeast, light hop. The flavour is moderate bitter with a malty, light resin hop bitter palate and a short bitter finish. Medium bodied with average carbonation.

Bottle consumed in Kosovo, thank you Tord. Pours golden, a bit hazy with a small white head. Nose of summer fruit (apricot, peach), wheat grains, bread. Mouth is very balanced: barley, light pine bitterness and nice character. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Robe orangée-jaune. Au nez de vives senteurs d’agrumes et d’herbes. En bouche l’amertume est forte (trop ?). Manque de pétillant.
