Bottle, The Man In The Moon, Stockholm, 28/10/15. 84kr. First beer in 28 days. Dusty red amber slimly foamed with white. Nose of rye bread, peachy iced tea, US caramel sweetness with a rub of leaf and battered sausage. Sweetish with batter, caramel and red fruit blending with the peachiness of the hops. It’s OK but as an IPA not to my taste.

Bottle at home in London - picked up as an extra in a trade. Pours clear, deep gold with a frothy, off-white head. Toasty crackers in the nose, jammy citrus, pine needles, grains. Medium sweet flavor with rich, toasty sugars, citrus preserves, ripe orange, sugary grains, graham cracker, pine. Medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Sweet finish with mild piney resin, gooey citrus fruits, light caramel, more crackery malts. So so overall.

330ml bottle from Systembolaget. Clear amber, medium size fluffy egg-white head, good lacing. Hoppy nose with citrus zest and tropical fruits, some sweet caramel in there aswell. Mild carbonated, smooth and thick mouthfeel. Sweet and bitter taste in good balance, citrus zest, apricot, grass toffee and caramel.

33cl bottle from Systembolaget. Best before 2015-12. Batch A. It poured a amber-ish orange colour with a medium big white creamy head. Aroma is crisp and fresh. Lots of hops and tropical fruits. Some sweet malts. Notes of pine. Flavour is sweet and malty at first with some hops and bitterness but overall it’s very smooth and balanced. Hints of pine. Some caramel which is a bit suprising but very tasty at the same time. A bit short aftertaste. I really like this beer. Like a mild double/imperial IPA without going overboard with either the hops or the malts.

This might be one of my favourite indian pale ales that Ive ever tried and also my first rating on ratebeer. I enjoy both the appearance as well as the aroma. I often tend to like the IPAs Im trying but still tI often feel like somethings missing. Not many Ipas lives up to my expectations when it coms to bitterness as the Oppigårds "Indian tribute". The beer leaves a mark in your mouth long after you drink it. Just as I personally like it. And it also suits amazingly good with my other passion, cheese.

Clear hazy golden, decent ringed head. Fussy caramel nose. Initial taste is lean sweet, calmingly bitter and softly cheesy. Stern carbonation, gloopy mouthfeel. Finishes long and bitter. Fairly standard fare, decent sweetness.
