3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 13/20
from old notes Vivid, clear crimson hue beneath a frothy, beige head. Savagely dank aroma of hops, cutting with razors of pine needles and oranges through toast and light caramel. Flashes of restrained, biscuit sweetness before hops attack in a symphony citric acidity and fat bitterness; the aftertaste evokes thoughts of mangoes and papaya alongside the lingering bitterness. Soft carbonation gets the job done, well attenuated, oily of hops.
Fantastic. The hops might get a bit cloying a few pints deep, but it’s worth that wonderfully dank profile.
50 cl bottle, best before May 2009.

3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
300ml draught, served in a delicate way at Genfiddich Warehouse, Gamla Stan. Big, beige head far above the rim of the glass, slowly fading to a few patches. Fruity hops and smooth dark chocolate malts to the nose. Plenty of citric hops in flavour with a solid accent of pine needles. Notes of malty sweetness beneath. Dry, bitter hopped ending. Medium bodied. Tasty (Stockholm, 29.07.2010).

3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
En ganska fruktig och lättdrucket öl.
En ganska klar kopparbrun färg och bara lite lätt skum. Fin balans mellan frukt och bitterenheter. En trevlig mjuk öl.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle. Clear bright amber with a white rocky head. Lovely fruity, piney and peppery aroma, supported by a light caramel note. Perfectly balanced both the aroma and the taste. Crispy, fresh, assertive but absolutely not "muscular" nor extreme. Delicious.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
Amber colour, creamy off-white head, lacing a plenty!
Aroma is full of passion fruit, grapefruit, lemon in short hops, hops, hops.
Flavour is the same with a nice clean bitterness to it.
Mouthfeel is average.
Best I’ve had so far from the always impressing Oppigårds.

UPDATED: NOV 23, 2009 Pours a copper color with a nice white head. Very nice hoppy aroma with grapefruit, orange, citrus and a bit of flowers. Flavour is very nice with a clear orange-like taste, grapefruit and citrus. Medium bodied with a nice carbonation. Must be one of the best Swedish IPA:s.

A nose of lemons and hops. Taste is of honey, flowers and citrus. It’s quite sweet, but also bitter and dry in the finish. A british-style IPA that were probably better a couple of months ago.
