Ungstrup (29485) - Citizen of the universe, DENMARK - SEP 30, 2008
Draft at Stockholm Beer Festival 2008. An amber beer with a huge orangey head. The aroma is sweet with strong notes of hops and grapefruit as well as lighter notes of spices and caramel. The flavor is sweet malty with notes of caramel and hops, the latter bitting the tongue, and leading to a dry bitter finish.

Draught at Oliver Twist, Stockholm. Clearamber, rocky head. Aroma of lychee and sweaty mango. Sweet with rounded mouthfeel. Powerfully hoppy, floral and piney. Fruity with solid body with salty bitter finish. A drinkable, clean American style IPA - the most extrovert brew yet from Oppigårds.

Bottle in my Stockholm hotel room. Clear amber beer, big pale cream coloured head. Palate is smooth but with good minerally carbonation roughing things up. Nicely balanced IPA. Sweetish malt base, trace of caramel. Hops are pine, citrus and a little marmalade. Trace of tropical fruits. Crisp minerally finish. Tasty and very drinkable.

fiulijn (14990) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - JUN 10, 2008
Draught at the Rover, Göteborg
Hazy amber color; creamy head. It has a medium hoppy aroma, earthy, a bit cheesy, that hides a very mild fruity touch. The caramel flavor and strong hopping (not much aromatic) turn into a lightly sourish/astringent feeling; I’m afraid of a small fermentation problem that affects this beer, or maybe it’s just the keg, spoiling a bit the experience…
