4.9 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 19/20
According to my taste buds and nose, this is the ultimate expression of malt, yeast, hops and water. Having tasted quite a few sorts, the OIT quite frankly tops my list. Not, standing out in any extreme sense, like an Imperial *whatever*, it is perfectly balanced in all aspects of the brew. If I had to choose one beer to drink for the rest of my life, this would be it. The -1 in overall comes from the relatively high ABV, a 20 would be the OIT with no intoxicating effect at all...

Awesome Swedish American IPA. Lovely flowery appearance in both aroma and taste. It has a long last bitterness!

4.6 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 19/20
Pours amber with a 2cm white head. A lot of trace on the glass.
Fantastic smell of american hops, grape, apricot and peach. A little bit of caramell in the background. An "oily" smell.
I have a little problem to start tasting the beer - The smell is sooo god!
A great bitter taste of grape, grass, hops, pine needles - magical!
The Best Beer in Sweden right now?

At Mackinlays Inn, sthlm.Delicious fruity aroma. Guess this is an IIPA and not a regular IPA like Amarillo. Great stuff. Perhaps as good as the amarillo. Will definitely buy again.

I’ve had a lot of Oppigård-beer before this one, and I know that they are skilled with the hops, so I had high expectations for "Indian Tribute". I’m not disappointed :-)
The beer pours smoothly with medium carbonation, leaving a subtle mantle of foam on top (as does many IPA’s). Color is light amber, much like the color on the label.
Aroma is somewhat sweet but rounded off by the nice hops. Honeydew-melon, peach, apricot and young spruce-shoots.
Taste is overall very good, maybe somewhat too light for my taste, but still rich and complex. Breaking up the palate, we’ve got the initial carbonation-tingle, then bitter-hops, followed by a great bouquet of aromatic hops and light/medium malts. It leaves you thinking of a big slice of honeydew and non-sweetened ice-tea. Very refreshing and just perfectly balanced up by the alcohol (which shows itself as a slightly thick and warm mouth-feel).
Enjoy this beer with good conversations by the water, combine it with lighter dishes or add as a kicker in deserts! Also try pouring some on real ice cream! /Hansays
