COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Oppigårds Spring Ale är ett tillfälligt säsongsöl. Denna öl är en blandning mellan en engelsk bitter och en amerikansk pale ale. Engelsk och amerikansk humle, engelsk jäst men inte så torr som en riktig bitter. Denna ale är torrhumlad i jäskar i slutet av primärjäsningen. Det ger ölet en mer påtaglig humlearom. Upplagan är begränsad till 10.340 flaskor. OG 1049, SG 1012, Alk vol: 4,6 %, EBC 14, IBU 42 Malt: Pale Ale malt och karamellmalt. Bitterhumle: Centennial, Smakhumle: Willamette, Aromhumle: EK Goldings, Cascade och Willamette. Torrhumlad med Cascade och East Kent Goldings

UPDATED: MAR 23, 2009 Bottle. Golden/pale orange color with a white head. Aroma: Sweet fruit, hops (english & american), grain and citrus. Flavor: Bitter hops, citrus, some sweet fruits, grass, and white bread. Very drinkable. Re-tested 090314.

gnoff (7975) - Mölndal, SWEDEN - MAR 7, 2008
(50 cl bottled from Systembolaget) On March 7, 2008. BB June 2008. Clear golden color, big cream colored head. Fruity hoppy scent mixed with almond paste, rather sweet. Bitter hoppy taste, I’d like the taste to be sweeter. IT’s also very dry, perhaps too much calcium sulfate has been used? Medium mouthfeel, medium high, a bit sharp, bitterness.

UPDATED: MAR 4, 2009 Bottle (50 cl) from Systembolaget. Clear deep golden, large creamy white head. Hops dominate the aroma, with citrus and pine-needles, along with some bready and fruity malt. Light to medium bodied. Quite bitter with a long finish. A very good and tasty thirst-quencher.

Bottle. Golden color, quite nice creamy offwhite head. Hoppy metallic aroma. Citrus notes, some grass, some pineneedles. Hoppy grassy, metallic flavor with citrus. grapefruit, dry and with a nice palate. Balanced bitter hop finish.

Bottle: clear golden/red colour, with a nice white head. Aroma of lots of hops and a nice mix of citrus and fruits.Dry sweet hopy nose. Flavor is almost the same here, but has a nice DRY hopy mouth feeling who is dominated weerry long Nice! Sweet bitter ending. This is a werry nice done beer in this alc-class. Werry nice. complements to the brewer here!

Bottle. Golden colour with an off-white head. Perfumy, hoppy aroma with some notes of citrus & pine. Soft taste, medium bitterness (for a micro). Long, bitter finish. Feels quite similar to the rest of Oppigårds beer.

Bottled. Pours out in a clear pale orange colour with a low creamy white foam. Crisp orangey hops in the aroma with touches of grass and minerals. Medium-bodied with hoppy notes of orange-peels and grass with malty undertones of butter, grains and white bread. Medium bitter finish of grass and orange-peels.
