courtesy of Per - hazy dark orange beer under a solid foamy white head; nice lacework; flowery hoppy aroma with notes of almonds and honey; a decent malt backbone and a very tasty palate; rather highly carbonated; pretty bitter and with a long flowery and honeyish bitter hoppy finish - very drinkable

Bottle. Amber colour with a large white head. Fruity aroma. Hoppy rather bitter flavour.

Det här var en riktigt god öl med mycket smak av ’blommigt’ humle. Efterbeskan är både lång och skarp och ger ölen en skön känsla. Jag saknade en stadigare kropp men den är imponerande bra med tanke på alkoholhalten.

UPDATED: MAR 6, 2012 Bottle. Deep golden colour with a white head. Grape nose. Lots of citrus/grape flavour, with a well balanced malt body.

Bottle. Pours a light clear orange body with a small white head. Nose is pale malts, peaches, hints of honey and grass. Smooth. Taste is more grassy hop tones, peaches and hints of spruce and caramel. OK and quite drinkable, but a tad bit boring.

Floral and fruity hop aroma with hints of citrus, grapefruit, peach and apricot. The taste is the same, and especially the flavouring of grapefruit is coming through. The aftertaste is long and bitter. Nice, but it has too much bitter grapefruit in the taste for my liking!

Pours golden yellow with a frothy white head. Strong grapefruit aromas, some pine and grass. Very fresh and green. No sweetness at all. The taste is also lacking sweetness which makes for a very dry and refreshing beer that go well with food. The taste is grassy with a citrusy, grass taste. Pretty bitter!

Pours a golden color with a nice white head, some lacing. Aroma of grapefruit, pine needles and apricot. Flavour is hoppy with refreshing piny/grapefruity hops and marked bitterness. Carbonation is lively. Light to medium bodied. Very nice.

Ljust bärnstensfärgad, medelstort skum, lite dimmig vätska. Frisk doft av grape och tallbarr. Lätt kropp, tydlig grapekaraktär med relativt stor beska. Frisk, stram, fruktig. Som att äta grape minus sötman. Perfekt till husmanskost om man ha något annat än en besk pilsner. Roligt att dricka en single hop på Chinook.
