And it was. I wish it wasn’t so hard to discribe... the hoppiness, not too dry - not too sweet - the freshness fuyll of hope for spring, the balanced bitterness, the malt, the lingering aroma, the restrained acidy sidetones. No smoke here, no tar, no bread or raisins. but what the hell - winter is soon to be over. They’ll be welcome back in a few months. I was lucky to get three of the 10340 bottles made. Great beer! Aroma is wow, bursting with hops, citrus, yellow grapefruit, lemon, grassy hay character. Taste is also an attack on the tougne with hops, very bitter and citrusy, but in the scandinavian way(new zeland hops?) rather than the american way. Soo fresh and appealing, georgous stuff and i wish i could get this all the time. One faly from making it in my top 50 beers of all time, it seems slightly over carbonated. pilsnerrogge (1796), Finspång, Sweden

| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Mar 14, 2009 330 ml bottle. Crystal clear amber colour. Medium-sized white head that clings to the glass. Delicious floral hop aroma with notes of citrus and fresh grass. The cascade hop is quite dominating. Crisp mouthfeel with a sharp hop bitterness that cuts through the otherwise chewy maltiness. Lots of hop flavour here, which is refreshing without going over board. This in an excellent pale ale with lots of hops, but not hops that ooze of citrus and grapefruit, instead clean floral and grassy hops with a nice bite. rickgordon (3342), Göteborg, Sweden

Wow, great beer! Dark amber colour with medium-sized head. Full malty aroma with lots of caramelly backbone with accompanying flowery, grapey hops. Body is big, given the abv. There are of course pretty much residual sugars, but it is not sweet. Just full malty and superbly caramelly with excellent balance from the hops. Very good beer! Furseth (1339), Kungälv, Sweden

| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Mar 15, 2008 500 ml bottle. A clear, golden brown colored beer, topped with a low, greyish head. Lovely floral and citric hop aroma. Moderately sweet and light malty taste with a distinct bitterness from refined hops; pine, resin and grapefruit detected. Good body considering the relatively low alcohol strength. Dry, almost astringent mouthfeel.
Lingering bitter finish. Very nice, the perfect session beer for me.
