COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

Served almost ’warm’, only an hour in the fridge. And drunk slowly, so it was at room temperature for much of the time. Rich orange, tiny head. Lovely sweet rich fruity hop aroma - cascade doing its job well. Palate is top - pleasant carbonation, rich sweet malty mouthfeel, and the retronasals are magnificent. Taste is relatively simple in the grand scheme of things - that simplicity doesn’t extend much beyond lovely rich sweet roasty malts, between bready and cakey, and gloriously fruity hops, all in perfect balance. Lovely hoppy finish. Amazing sauna beer - at 5.2%, this is almost a classic for the style.

500 ml bottle. Clear, dark golden colour, thin white head that leaves some lacing. Aroma of caramel malts and lots of citrus and hops. Caramel malts, some nuts and citrus fruits, and a very nice, long and dry hoppy finish.

It poured a clear dark golden liquid with a medium foam that left lots of lacing. It smelled of grassy hops and some sweetness. It had a smell of grassy hops, citrus, grapefruit with a medium bitterness. Very nice and fresh beer which I truelly enjoyed. Felt well balanced.

A rich nose of citrus, earth and roasted malt. Taste is not as impressive - Too acidic for the style and a bleak, nutty version of the aroma. I’ve never been a big fan of Oppigårds, even if they do have a few good brews.

Bottle. Rather malty for being an APA. The hops are grapefruity sweet¨. Sweet hoppy aroma with some cookies. Drinkable and refreshing but not very good. Too sweet and unbalanced.

500 ml bottle. Finland. Deep golden colour with medium white head. Hoppy aroma with fruits. Delicious Cascade. Flavour is also very hoppy with grapefruit and resin and some sweetness. Excellent hoppiness and therefore ending with bitterness.

Pours a clear, light amber with good head that settles rather quickly. Delicate fragrance of grapefruit peel as promised by the Cascade. The grapefriut notes are also prominent in the flavour, along with a light acidic note and an appropriate bitterness. Well balanced carbonation and mouth-feel.
