UPDATED: JUN 30, 2013 Gul/guldig färg. Lätt grumlig. Stort bubbligt skum. Luktar grapefrukt, apelsin, citron, lite tall. Ganska söt smak i början, lätt karamellig. Övergår i en riktigt stor beska som ligger och trycker i munnen länge!

33 cl bottle. Pours hazy amber golden with small, thick, creamy head. Apricot, pine and resin in aroma and taste. The high ABV adds full mouthfeel and lots of fruity sweetness. Like everything from Oppigårds, this is a solid brew, but a little bit unbalanced toward sweet for a top score. Try it together with the Amarillo and Indian Tribute from Oppigårds for comparison. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle at home, 6th April 14. Nice sweetish aroma, taste is slightly sweet, some pine, a little bitterness. Needs more bitter hops and slightly toned down sweet malts. Enjoyable all the same

Clear, golden orange. Some resiny, slighly grassy hops, amarillo, with some alcohol, and sweet malts. Taste starts off with a strong bitterness, grapefruit input, turns into a watery, a bit too sweet malty base, and a distincitve alcohol... Not good, tried next to Omnipollo Nebuchadnezzar, and this was so much worse, even though it was 2 months fresher.

Yellow clear color, with small head. Fruits, pineapple, mango, papaya and peach, hay, and sweaty feet - unusual, still on the fruity side, nice. Exotic fruits, papaya and ripe peach, with a huge bitterness and sweeter malts, which leads to an intense IPA. Bitterness stays on the tongue for a very long time, without being unpleasant. Hints of alcohol become detectable for a split-second, as the beer warms up, gets hidden by sweet fruit flavors pretty soon. Ripe fruits go along with a sharp, dry hoppy bitterness creating a full body. The whole beer tends to be a little sweeter due to the higher alcohol, still the hoppiness succedes. Very enjoyable, complexity of this beer is fantastic, but it doesn’t get too extreme on either the hops nor the sugar, perfect balance leads to a unusual refreshing and fruity double IPA with just lots of hops.

Keg at Ölstugan 1892 Tullen Andra Lång, Goteborg, 21/03/14. Clear orange amber with a moderate off white head that retains as a covering. Nose is caramel malt, bitter hops, tangy orange, red grapefruit, pine tinges. Taste comprises bitter orange, citric sherbets, sweet licks, caramel malt, grapefruit, light mineral bite. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi aggressive hop bitterness in a semi drying close. Decent enough DIPA, could do with a little tweak up in bitterness and tweak down in sweetness to give a better balance..

26.03.2014, 0,33l bottle @ hotel room in Oslo, courtesy of Cunningham:
Big creamy mediumlasting head. Aroma is slightly fresh grassy, hops, leafs, grass, bark, sap, light malts, hints of metal tank. Taste is slighty sweet concentrated grassy, hops, grass, leafs, sap, bark, light malts, dried fruits, soil. Longlasting bitterness, slightly harsh and dry mouthfeel. Not really my cup of tea.

Bottle, thnx to rlgk. Pours a hazy orange beer with a medium sized, white head on top. Aroma is citric, juicy hops and very crisp. Fresh grass, lemon peel and everything hoppy is involved here! Flavor is very juicy lemon and grapefruit. Very slight malt bill detected. Bitterness is balanced out be the juicy, grassy hoppy influences. Slight caramel-like sweetness in the very end of the flavor. Long, bittersweet aftertaste. Medium carbo. One hell of an amazing IIPA. Great stuff!

330 ml bottle. Orange golden with white head that leaves little lacing. Surprisingly clear. Smell is bitter and citrusy. Taste is very high in bitterness with citrus and grapefruit. Though there is a lot of hops in this one some sweet caramel malt can be sensed before the though bitter aftertaste kicks in.
