courtesy of Cunningham - light hazy dark orange beer with a little foam left; fresh juicy hoppy nose of apricots and mango; full-bodied, clean and juicy palate, lively and fairly bitter; long fruity hoppy finish and pretty dry - clean and very good

Bottle @ home. Amber almost clear liquid with a white head. Sweet, dry and resinous aroma of pine apple, apricots, some mango & tangerine, candy, biscuits, honey & grass hints. Medium to big body which is smooth & dry. Taste of grape, pine apple, lemon, candy, light caramel. Dry finish with an assertive, lasting and balanced bitterness.

Aug ’14. A 0.33 l bottle from Systembolaget, Upplands Väsby. It poured hazy copper-orange body with a small head atop. Strong hoppy aroma where citrus was dominating, discernible Cascade and Citra. Malty as well, tropical fruits, biscuit, rather complex. Flavor was bitter but also sweet, as expected. It followed the aroma and its complexity for the style, even widened that palette a little bit more - dry, sharp citrus and herbal hop "spikes" were filled in with smoothing tasty biscuit, fruit (apricot and tropical), vanilla and honey. There were some different herbal spicy flavors, too. Alcohol was perfectly hidden in its full and creamy body. Long delicious finish that pronounced again both fruitiness and bitterness followed. Very good one, true it’s typical but excellent in that typicality!

Bottle. Nice tropical hop aroma. Deep golden, offwhite head. Good balance between sweet tropical notes and a medium light yet chewy malt body. Very nice dipa.

330 ml bottle from Systembolaget Passagen, Stockholm.
Amber, clear body, with a medium, creamy, white head.
Aroma of grapefruit, tropical fruits, peach, resin, some pine, caramel, some grass.
Tastes of pine, citrus, resin, peach, some tropical fruits and lots of smooth malts, like biscuit, caramel and honey.
Medium, oily mouthfeel, with an average carbonation.
Finishes bitter, a bit dry, zesty, piney and also sweet malty.

Tasty! Pretty much how a nice DIPA should be: Very hoppy, but also with a full, smooth malt backbone. It isn’t the most unique, there are lots of DIPAs that tastes like this, but it is clean, crisp, greatly balanced and really quaffable.

Olutexpo notes. Quite clear apricot aroma, some alcohol comes through and some caramel. Flavour is intense and quite lasting.
