Bottle. Instant apple aroma. Black body. Small head. Easy on the tongue with a aftertaste of apple och coffee beans.

Flaska @ Pickwick Pub, Malmö. Svart öl, minimalt skum som snart bara ligger som en rest på ytan. En hel del saltlakrits i doften, tillsammans med röda bär och mörk choklad. Finns en viss rökighet därtill. Samma återkommer i smaken, minus rökigheten fast plus fruktighet. En öl att sitta länge med.

Bottle. Opaque black liquid with small tan head. Aroma of dark fruit, licorice, candy, toffee, chocolate and British yeast esters. Taste is light sweet and light to medium bitter with notes of banana, toffee and chocolate. Medium to full bodied with low to medium carbonation. Nice, very fruity for an Impy.

Bottle @ SMÖF 2012. Very dark brown with a small brown head. Fruity and malty tones. Malt, fruit, roasted and chocolate. Full body with a nice bitter sweet after taste.

(Draught at Stockholm Beer Festival, 29 Sep 2012) Black colour with brief, pale brown head. Malty, roasted nose with chocolate, coffee and cacao. Malty, roasted taste with notes of chocolate, coffee, cacao, vanilla and a generous chocolatey bitterness in the finish. Almost full body, smooth and rounded mouthfeel, with a touch of sweetness. Well balanced and tasty. Very nice.

Bottled at SMÖF 2012. Black with beige head. Roasted coffee and chocolate aroma with some tar. Medium bodied, medium carbonation. Semi dry with medium bitterness.

Aroma: Smelling of grain, dates, coffee, Marzipan and vanilla.
Appearance: A black brownish beer. An brown head with small lacing and good curtains.
Taste: Tasting sweet dark fruits, Marzipan, coffee and chocolate.
Palate: Low carbonation, a soft texture. A big body with a slightly dry finish.
Overall: A fruity complex beer. Might need some maturity.

Sample at SBWF 2012. Sweet smell with dried fruit, caramel and chocolate. Similar taste with a light smoky finnish. High residual sweetness. Nice to sip at.
