Rating #2200. Aug ’14. A 0.33 l bottle from Systembolaget Klarabergsgatan, Stockholm, as the only Swedish IS I could find in more than dozen of their shops visited! It poured almost black body with medium sized brown head. Pungent roasted malt aroma, coffee the most, along with cocoa, wood, licorice and touch of other herbal spices. Admittedly, quite complex. Flavor was mostly bitter, roasted, coffee, herbal spices with some sweeter malty notes as chocolate or caramel more pronounced towards the finish. Medium bodied, light for the style but tasty anyway, a well made imperial stout.

Svart öl med inslag av rött. Doft av kaffe, choklad, mörka bär och kola. I smaken tillkommer lite lakrits, aska och alkoholsötma.

Black as night with minimal light brownish head. Nose is liquorice, roasty coffee, some sweet tones, like plums. Taste is sweet malty with some tones of liquorice, coffee and maybe chocolate kicking in at the end. Well balanced stout!

330 ml bottle @ Konttori
Slightly reddish dark brown, almost black beer with little beige head. Aroma has licorice, chocolate, dark fruits, banana, sugary sweetness and some roasted malts. Flavor has licorice, fruit candy, light coffee liqueur, banana and some roasted malts. Palate is slick and medium full. Finishj has medium bitterness and alcohol feel. Aftertaste has licorice, sugary cola sweetness, coffee acidicy and alcohol. Kind of Black IPA without heavy bitterness. An easily drinkable stout, not that Imperial.

Kolsvart med inget skum. Doftar malt och lite choklad. Smakar bränd karamell med en obehaglig bismak av något oljigt. Den långa eftersmaken domineras av bitter choklad. Dålig mix av IPA och Stout.

33 cl bottle @ Olutravintola Konttori. BBE 07/2017.
Pours black color with a red tint on the sides and a small head. Tar and salmiac on the nose, mild orange, molasses and some cola.Very sadly and malty flavor, licorice, dark fruits and some faint chocolate. Mild tar and molasses too. Not quite what I was expecting. Bitter and hoppy, slightly too salty and has too much cola. No off-notes though.
