Dark ruby red. White head dissolved quickly. Smells wonderfully of bread then citrus. Taste of cocoa. Aftertaste of figs. I like this ale and would recommend it.

500ml bottle, pours clear dark amber with a small beige head that reduced quickly. Aroma and taste of apricots, orange peels, caramel, and a hint of bread and spices. Light sweetness and medium bitterness. Medium body, somewhat thin texture and medium carbonation. Overall good but not what I expect from a Winter Ale, lacks spices and strength.

Klar kopparfärg, brittisk bitter till utseendet. Men smaken är maltig och söt med liten beska. Viss citrus- och grapeton. Lite kryddig karaktär. Törstsläckande tack vare den goda vattenkvaliteten. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Flaska från SB. Kopparfärgad vätska med skum som snabbt avtar. Maltig doft. Låg sötma matchas med lagom beska. Torr munkänsla. Kort eftersmak.

Bottle. Bright orange-red, the head is thin but remarkably sticky. There isn’t too much of an aroma to talk about. The beer drinks with a nice, adhesive mouthfeel. It’s a well balanced blend of even-keeled mushy malt with a kiss of acidic bite at the finish. Enjoyable. (#5005, 5/5/2013)

Slightly hazy copper brown pour with a tall, chunky beige head that has great retention and leaves nice lacing. Aroma of sweet toffee, fruity esters, citrus hops, nice floral notes, bready yeast and some toastiness. Flavor is a little more on the toasty side, roasted nuts, toast, crusty bread, dry hay, earthy, citrus, floral and pine hops. Light to medium body, off dry, somewhat creamy, but syrupy feel, moderate strength, blanketing and fairly sharp carbonaiton. Good stuff overall, very nice hop profile, that I wasn’t really expecting.
