A - 1 finger head. Dissipates fast. Off white. SRM of 11. Dark orange appearance
S - cheese and dominant yeast. Pineapple and peaches. Funky falling off scent. Old shoe?
T - Old shoes. Hay and barnyard. Champagne yeast.
M - 90% carbonation. Lingering bitterness and caramel
O - Better fresh. This beer was once great (according to those around me). I’m rating this one on a curve of 3.5/5. I hear it’s just falling off so no need to give an ultra low rating.

2010 Vintage (evidently) // 33 cl. bottle @ WoSF 2012 // close to clear golden // smell sweet, lemon drops & herbs // tastes like cough syrup, lemon drops, weirdly & strongly herbal, bitter // age has not been kind to it but it rarely is on Alvinne beers // med. carb.

Hazy gold with off-white head. Sweet and spiced with a nice hop character.

Bottle 330ml. @ 20th Weekend of Spontaneous Fermenation, Tapperij Beukenhof, Broekstraat 18, Buggenhout, Belgium.
Unclear medium matt and grey yellow orange colour with a large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to white head. Aroma is light moderate malty, grass, moderate to heavy yeasty, fruity, baking yeast, yeast. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a average to long duration, yeasty, fruity - apricot, phenol. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.

Bottle at the 20th Weekend of Spontaneous Fermentation. It pours hazy golden yellow, with a thick foamy white head. The nose is metal, bread, grapefruit and pepper. The taste is grass, hay, bread, metal, honey sweetness, light caramel and lemon, with a moderate duration bitter finish. Overall it is a bit too sweet for me.

Bottle marked 20th anniversary of Bierpalletiers (was that 2009?). Clear golden color, massive off white ice cream cone head. Aroma of white pepper, straw, and decent hops. Taste is bitter throughout without being over the top. More like a Belgain IPA than a tripel.

Clear golden/amber - white head. Sharpness, Wheaty, Peppery, Rather hoppy, Medicine, light artificial, Light candy, Herbal notes, milkey notes, Wierd.

Tasted 4 june 10, from bottle @ home, bought on Festival Spont. ferm. 30.05.’10.
Hazy darkgolden color, with darkwhite head.
Nose: good fruits (from the amezrican hops).
Taste very nice (this Alvinne version is great)
fruity hops, dry, good hopsbitterness. Refreshing tripel.

(this is not the beer "Opstalse Tripel" formerly brewed by Angerik, it is a new beer, brewed in Alvinne, Heule, for the Bierpallieters, a Belgian beer tasting society from Opstal)
Pours a little clouded dark yellow with an almost yellowish head. Smells like exotic fruits. Tastes like exotic fruits also, with citrus and apricotstones. A dry aftertaste but not very complex.
