COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
When you make a pot of coffee, but only use half the water, you get some pretty rich coffee. That’s the approach we took with our latest offering. OBP Squared, with half the water, has 11% alcohol by volume - twice that of original OBP.
The result is a bold, distinct taste of its own. Made with twice as much real orange blossom honey, all-natural ingredients and no refined sugar, it really is the new king bee of beers.

12 oz. bottle. Dark copper with a small, tan, creamy head. Smells like orange marmalade, honey, and caramel. This beer is cloyingly sweet. Heavy body, very thick and sticky. Overall, this is pleasantly flavorful beer, but it is overly sweet and sticky. There are worse things in a beer, though.

Bottle from ABC. Pours a clear golden orange with a thin head and some pretty nice lacing. Aroma is citrus, obviously mostly orange and with a huge alcohol overtone. Taste is extremely boozy to the point of overpowering what could be a nice flavor. Mouthfeel is very oily with a very bitter, astringent finish. I get the idea behind this beer but it just doesn’t really work at all for me. Avoid.

smaynard6000 (662) - Apopka, Florida, USA - AUG 27, 2014
bottle. Pours a dark golden color with soft carbonation and minimal head. Aroma is grain and some sweetness. Thick on the palate, this is a sweet beer. Not bad, but certainly not anything great.

Bottle from Lazy Dog. Pours a transparent amber with the most miniscule ring of off white head. Aroma is very faint, some basic malts/hops with some fruit. Taste is pretty bad, overly sweet with nothing to balance it. The sweetness masks the abv.

Poured this beer from a regular bottle into a mason jar glass to drink. The beer had a rich, deep amber-orange color with a good-sized foamy off white head with pretty good retention, cling and lacing. Its aroma had strong notes of honey, along with orange, and bits of wheat, grainy hops, and perhaps some caramel malt. The beer had a somewhat sweet orange and honey flavor, but mixed with a lighter grainy bitter effect as well. It had fairly average carbonation, and thickness, with a somewhat wet and watery body. Thank you for the beer, Dayton!

It pours and looks clear. It is actually a rather light orange in color. There is virtually no head and no lacing to speak of. The is a distinct smell honey with orange. It also has a sweet sugary smell to it. The first thing that hits the taste is alcohol, then flower with a hint of honey. The alcohol was overwhelming to the degree that it actually damaged the taste.

Cloudy yellow with a white head. Aroma is honey and a bit of citrus. Flavor is a bit cloyingly sweet on the honey side with a bit of orange juice flavor. A little thick and artificial tasting. Wife: 3.5

Bottle. Pours golden orange with a white head. Big sweet honey, booze, and coriander. Not horrible, but too big and syrupy boozy.

Very sweet. Drank from bottle so no appearance notes. Thicker mouthfeel. Would love to re-rate.

Bottle from Knightly Spirits, Kissimmee, Florida. This golden beer pours without any head. It has very strong, rich honey, orange and grape? flavours with caramel and vanilla on the warming alcoholic finish.
