3.4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 15/20
12 oz. bottle. Dark copper with a small, tan, creamy head. Smells like orange marmalade, honey, and caramel. This beer is cloyingly sweet. Heavy body, very thick and sticky. Overall, this is pleasantly flavorful beer, but it is overly sweet and sticky. There are worse things in a beer, though.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Pours a clear golden color with white head. Alcohol, wow, you can smell the alcohol on the nose, some light sweetness, and some cereal grain as well; follows onto the palate. Very boozy. Medium bodied. Finishes with booze and cereal.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
The concept behind Orange Blossom Pilsner Squared is that itís the same recipe as a standard pilsner they make Ė they just half the water in order to up the ABV. Not having tried the original I canít say how this compares; but as a beer in and of itself itís only okay at best. The honey used in the brewing dominates the palette completely. The result is a sweet, simple, and boozy brew thatís much closer to a braggot than anything even close to an imperial pilsner.
I poured a 12oz can into a wine glass. It was canned on 8/5/15 and cost $3.79 ($0.32 per ounce).
Appearance: A clear and pretty shade of orange proper. No carbonation visible. Pours to a small, off-white, foamy head which evaporates quickly and completely.
Smell: Alcohol is dominant (similar to mead), though thereís a sweetness to the aroma. A combination of yellow lollipops, honey and chamomile tea. No hops and no distinctive malt scents.
Taste: Iíve really come to enjoy and appreciate the pilsner style, so I was really looking forward to trying an imperial edition (assuming it was brewed to traditional specs). This beer really has nothing about it that indicates itís a pilsner at all. No pilsner malt, no noble hops and no effervescent mouthfeel, either. Itís much closer to some kind of imperial amber ale/mead hybrid Ė or a ďbraggot.Ē Honey is pretty much all I can taste here, especially on the second half. The first half is mostly mead and alcohol with a slight chamomile tea and floral component. Though only 4 months old, there seems to be signs of oxidation already (hence the lollipop aroma and flavor). While thereís nothing inherently repugnant about the taste of this brew, thereís not a lot to truly enjoy. Iím sure mead lovers would appreciate it more than the average beer drinker.
Drinkability: When I saw the 11% ABV on the can I was shocked since it seems like such an ordinary offering. Though I looked forward to a big, complex palette; but Orange Blossom Pilsner Squared was rather simple. The mouthfeel is surprisingly tame. Carbonation dies down quickly leaving a mouthfeel thatís like a light mead. Noticeably warm (maybe even hot) on the throat; but it finishes remarkably clean. The lack of effervescence makes me wonder if itís truly a pilsner.

2.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
This pils poured a slightly cloudy Amber colour with a nice, creamy white head. Scents include fruit juice, candy and hops. First swig was smooth but with almost no carbonation. Sweet taste, with flavours of citrus and honey. Finish is very sweet and thick...

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Can. Pours appetizing clear amber with a fairly thick, if not persistent, buff head. Malty aroma has a strong honey overtone that makes the salivary glands go Pavlov. Flavor has bold malty, honey, and bitter hoppy notes, not your typical Pilsner for sure! Texture has average body and fizz, and leaves a nice honey finish that has the perfect level of sweetness. Buzz on over to your favorite package store or watering hole and hive one - youíll bee glad you did.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Poured from a 12 OZ can into a pint glass.
Aroma- Smells like oranges with a hint of honey. the ABV is well hidden.
Appearance- pours a burnt orange with a small white head
Taste- uhhmm, orange and honey, very little beer flavor for me. No hint of the ABV, a scary beer to drink not knowing the ABV. LOL
Palate- A medium bodied beer with moderate carbonation. This beer has an oily texture.
Overall- Not a horrible beer, it is rather average to above average. The high ABV matched to the price point is probably very helpful to the brewer. I bet this is popular for that reason.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
12oz bottle, purchased 2/23/15 from Habersham in Savannah. Shared with Chris R. Clear orange color. Bubbly ring of white head. Bits of lace. Nose is caramel, honey. Taste is not as cloying sweet as I expected, much better balance than I expected (which reflects my surprise from the base OBP). Actually hides the 11% alcohol astonishingly well. More of the orange blossom in the finish, well integrated with a pilsner type malt base. Sort of mildly peppery. Some orange citrus. Medium to bigger body. Smooth kind of crisp lighter carbonation. Lightly slick body, then satisfyingly dry in the finish. Damn, this is dangerous stuff. Drinks like 8%.

2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Bottle Val & Ben. Pour thick and viscous. Smell is a tad metallic. Strong and alky but it carries some of that wild attitude about itself. Yes, that wild tart thing keeps sticking its head up and I keep knocking it down like wack a mole, heheh. Yes, friendly warming sensations abound. Is surprisingly absent of that medicinal thing, l and I appreciate it. Somewhat good sizzling fine cutting co2.

1.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 5/20
Bottle from ABC. Pours a clear golden orange with a thin head and some pretty nice lacing. Aroma is citrus, obviously mostly orange and with a huge alcohol overtone. Taste is extremely boozy to the point of overpowering what could be a nice flavor. Mouthfeel is very oily with a very bitter, astringent finish. I get the idea behind this beer but it just doesnít really work at all for me. Avoid.
