2.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
This is an odd, yet interesting one. There is a definite note of sweetness and citrus that really comes through from the honey and the orange. It’s a bit intense, but a very interesting drink.

What can you say that the description doesn?t. They took the original and concentrated it to make a double version. Sweet, floral, grainy, crisp, with an added booze punch you don?t notice until you have had a couple.

Meh. Weak aroma. Sweet initial flavor with a sour finish. Pours an amber color with no head. Won't drink it again.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle thanks to Santa! Pours a clear orange with a white head that dissipates slowly to the edges. Aroma has a strong earthy honey and sweet grains with a bit of booze. Flavor is similar with sweet grains and strong honey notes backed by some warming alcohol.

4.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
Surprised by the low ratings on ratebeer of this one. I think it's beautiful. Honey in color. Strong honey aroma, and even stronger honey flavor. Not carbonated much at all, and is quite thick. Almost reminds me of a honey liquor -- the number one note here is honey early, often, and ever present. But it's a fresh honey, sweet but not overly so, and masks its ABV of 11 completely. If this were how meads tasted, I would book a time machine for the Middle Ages. Highly recommended!

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Clear deep golden orange pour with a thin ring of white head and a little fizzy ..... aroma of honey, orange and caramel malts ..... taste is malty with a little warming booze, but it doesn’t have that boozy dry flavor ... honey, caramel malts, and some orange ..... mouthfeel is thick, flat and syrupy ... finishes very dry ..... interesting brew

Sweet taste of honey! Sticky, bready, malty, I wonder if they used honey malt?

12 oz bottle...Clear orangey liquid with little to no head. Big caramel and orange flavors and reminiscent of a mead or barley wine. Quite cloying on the finish, but good none-the-less.
