3.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bière blonde avec petite mousse blanche. Au nez elle ne devoile pas beaucoup d’arômes. En bouche un peu de houblon. Pas aussi bonne que les autres bières sainte cru.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle, 330ml at Exils, Strasbourg, France. Clouded orange amber with white head. Sweet, sticky honey notes from the start, quite stick and full, then a flowery character, fresh, wouldn’t say orange but generally citrusy. Some heavy yeasty notes. It’s reasonable though.

Bottle from Saveur-Biere.com - Color: hazy golden blond beer with small carbonation and small white foam. Smell: sweet caramel and fruity notes. Sweet floral balance. Taste: medium body with caramel malt and floral taste. Really fresh and fruity. Good attenuation, wet hoppy bitterness. Aftertaste: wet bitterness, peach notes and floral finish.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
6th March 2016
Lightly hazy gold beer, good pale cream colour head. Palate is light and mildly dry, reasonable fine carbonation. Fluffy malts, a little lactose sweetness. Mild crystallised orange. Light spice and floral sweetneess. Light semi dry finish. Not bad, a sweetish fruity number.

2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
Hazy golden with a thin fluffy head. Spicy, citrusy, slightly metallic. Sweet and malty. Light bitterness, soft carbonation. A bit dull. Disappointing from this otherwise good brewery. But I suppose this kind of beer has to be part of the range of any french micro, to be able to offer something for the layman.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
Belle robe orangée
Des notes d’agrumes prononcées
Carbonatation trop plate à mon goût
Manque un peu de puissance

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottled 33cl. Pours a golden/orange ale, with medium white head. Nose is very yeasty, with a slight smell of citrus. Medium carbonation, aromas of yeast and citrus. Sweet body but bitterness is a bit to low for this kind of beer. This beer reminds me a lot the Duvel Tripel Hop with mosaic hop.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Medium, light-yellowish head, shortlived over faintly orangey golden beer. Dry nose, bit hoppy. Dry leaves, sparadrap, camphor, mint. In the finish, I get honey - but as I knew, I wonder... In the flavour, the honey is definitely more obvious. Again dry autumn leaves, bit of caramel. Again mint/camphor. Light body, medium carbonation, bit watery. Not without merit, but nobody is going to rave over this. Then again, bière satirique, what the hell is thàt supposed to mean??

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
(Keg at Black Door, 20151218) The beer poured golden and hazy. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had citricness, orange juice and a hint of malts. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were fruitiness, Belgian style yeast. citricness, grass, malts, mildly caramel and medium bitterness. Aftertaste was hoppy and bitter. An hoppy pale ale with a twist from Belgian style yeast. Rather dull.
