2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
500ml can served in a Weizen glass.
A: Pours a golden yellow clear color, forming a medium aired fluffy white head. Medium retention and only very few lacing left
S: Sweet grains and alcohol. Notes of Lager yeasts
T: Sweet upfront. Sweet grains. A bit metallic. Quite bready too. Mild hoppy bitter end
M: Creamy molasses body. Moderate bitter aftertaste
O: Recipe for producing an Euro Strong Lager: Take a drinkable Lager, overload it with sugar so that will produce tons of alcohol during fermentation. Congratulations! Now you have an extremely sweet and alcoholic beer with very low drinkability

Canned 0,50L. Fraught and moderate hazy amber color, poor bubbly aspect with short head duration. Very sweet aroma, metallic notes, alcohol. Undrinkable mouth. Sweet, unbalanced alcohilc notes, charged and very too sweet final.

I was intrigued by this beer when is saw it at Super Ronny #1 in Santa Teresa Costa Rica. A 12% imported beer from Belgium? Well when I tried it the intrigue left quickly. It smells not good, looks not good and tastes not good. If you are looking for a cheap beer to get you drunk quickly this might be your beer, if not steer clear.

Too sweet, tastes like a chemical component with lots of sugar to hide all the alcohol. Although it is not like I had to give up, it sure got me high, but I should not have it again. I’m sure it is tough to make a good 12 beer, but this one makes me wonder if I should try the regular Orangewood Lager. If you must have a 12, I would go for Bear Beer instead.

Excelente aroma, cervaza fuerte, cargada de sabor. Su alto grado de alcohol deja una fuerte bocanada de salida.

500ml can found buried at a supermarket in Kinshasa. Starchy white head, boring dark yellow body. Aroma of cloying sugars, some malt, slight hop hints. Flavour is all sugars and alcohol - strong lager/malt liquor/gasoline & perfume crap. Blargh. Just buy some vodka already!
