2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Yeah...a premium macro lager. Ok, I actually think this is a bit better than most macros, but only just. Aroma is wheat and malt. Taste is fairly balanced hops and malt, but not very distinctive.

1.5 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20
Pours a clear light gold with white head. Has a faint malty (lager) aroma. Taste is very bland with malt, grains, and corn. A plain aftertaste, but refreshing. Not watered down though like a bud, miller, or coors though.

2.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20
500ml can bought at ParkNShop SuperStore in Fanling.
Clear pale and dull golden yellow color; One finger head and crumpet white foam which lasted for 1 minute; Moderate sticky lacing with active carbonation; Quite pungent smell of malt, with light apple juice, sugar, strong bread and light grass; Light sweet taste of malt, with grains, light syrup notes, very light floral, thick bread, light yeast, faint lemon and moderate bitter grassy hops; Mid to light body. Thick and slightly oily palate; Mouth feel is thickish Euro macro Premium Lager - oily body, maltyness certainly better than the usual Pale Lager, but it tasted sluggish and quite raw, evident in that light apple juice nose, grainyness and notes of near-worty sweetness. Also quite bready, but it seems going nowhere…
Hoppiness is light grassy nose, very light lemon and light grassy taste. Bitterness is moderately strong, slightly Pilsener-like, for a lasting low astringent finish; Fairly dry after taste. Thick and low bitter to mouth.
Comments: This is a nearly-done Premium Lager, which has good heads and looks, fair maltyness, no adjucts, and right amount of hops and bitterness, but it tastes thick and sluggish, with hints of wortyness in nose and taste. Not to the point of drain pours, but certainly not enjoyable. Oh dear!

Boring lager beer. I tasted the original, that version is now retired. Which was actually a good thing.

Bottle (Old Notes)-Pours a clear yellow with a small white head. Aroma of grains, cereal, and corn. Taste of the same. This light bodied brew is not the best but not the worst.

2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
Looks just like a typical pilsner, but with nice white head. good head retention. Aroma is sweet malt, floral hops and some skunk. Aftertaste is a nice crisp mix between floral hops and sweet malt. Overall: A nice pilsner. No off-flavours and a well made mix between malt and floral hops.

2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
Pint can. Looks great for a pale lager as it poured a slightly unfiltered golden yellow color with a foamy white head and decent head retention. Taste of grass, grains, hay, and slightly metallic. Medium carbonation, thin body.

Just a very average Pilsner/Lager similar to danish styled like Tuborg, Heineken or Carlsberg. Way better than Heineken, but that doesn’t say too much I guess. Easy to drink, well crafted and very friendly hops and malts are used here. This could be my go-to everyday pils because of the price.
