Tall can from my local convenience store in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. Figured it was InBev, but ingredients listed only malt for grains so I was excited. A bit of a caveat emptor, as it lacks a solid malt backing. Going for the metallic instead... why oh why? Anyway, gold, some cereal on the nose and in the flavour. Thin, a bit on the sweet side. No hop finish at all, could be old.

1.7 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 11/20
It’s a good all-round lager, which is distinguished by a good full-bodied and slightly floral hop bitterness. It is an industrial lager, and it extends also not out by different in any way. A lager on the regular.

Can, from Rosy’s cheap bog roll and cottage cheese emporium. I did buy some big rolls when I got this, actually. Anyhow, there’s little to report here. Smells of little. Tastes of even less. Yellow fizz.

1.8 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
Bottle. Clear golden body with a thin white head. Low carbonation. No lacing. Aroma of sweetcorn, popcorn and - bizarrely - baked beans. Flavour of grain, soggy ceral and paper. Thin body with a watery texture. Soft fizz. Very poor.

This brew is golden orange and clear with a nice bubbly head. very little bitterness, slightly dry flowery flavor. Texture is light yet full in the mouth. This finishes crisp with just a touch of lingering bitterness.

From 16oz can from Trader Joe’s, about $1.20 per single can, poured into pils glass
Aroma: light grainy, subtle cracker
Appearance: golden, clear, white head
Taste: light bitter
Palate: crisp, clean, light body, average carbonation
Overall: Slightly watery. Crisp and light bodied. Tastes like mostly pils malt with very little hops and bitterness. Overall, not memorable. Nothing bad, just nothing there to taste.

Can from Trader Joes. Typical euro lager, very malty and kind of musty. Foamy head on pour, aroma not much, but not off either.

2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Can Trader Joe’s. Pours yellow with a white head. Nose is generic malt and some faint Euro hops. Middle is light bodied, smooth malt. Finish shows a little hoppy crispness. Not great, but better than some. I remember this being better in college...my taste has matured.
