Can. I don’t know about 6th percentile, but close enough :) Typical euro lager. Clean aroma and taste, but no depth and nothing stands out. Non-offensive is the best thing I can say. Single at Trader Joe’s.

2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
(Bottle) Clear amber, slight short-lived white head. Aroma of cardboard with grassy hints. Light bodied, although with slightly sticky feel, and fizzy. Taste is rather unpleasant - initial sugary sweetness gives way to a watery mid palate and then some harsh bitter notes develop. Unpleasant.

From a bottle. Pours pale copper with minimal head, weird aroma, pretty bad taste, poor at best.

330ml bottle into glass. Slight hops/grassy nose. Frothy white head, yellow/amber. Little carbonation. A little spritzy sweetness followed by short watery bitterness and right at the end a tiny bit of umami. Standard euro. Good BBQ beer.

2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
Burk 50 cl. Klar guldfärgad med ett vitt skum som snart sjunker ihop och försvinner. Dofter av malt, gräs och majs. Malten är alldeles för dominant i smaken. En lättare gräsbeska i avslutningen.

2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 7/20
Crap, basic domestic beer, with a bit of citrus. Pours an ugly clear yellow. Smell of beer. Taste is better then bud, with some citrus, but not great in the slightest. Had in the can.

Type: 16-oz. can
Glass: Modern Times pint glass
From: Trader Joe’s in La Mesa (San Diego), Calif.
Price: $5.99 for a 6-pack
Purchased: Dec. 19, 2014
Consumed: Dec. 19, 2014
Misc.: Best before May 9, 2015; Decided to try it after some random guy at the Trader Joe’s said, “I recommend this one. It’s real good. And it’s a 6-pack of pints.” Count me in.
Poured a golden, pale, clear color with five fingers of rocky, white head. Lots of carbonated bubbles coming up from the bottom of the glass. Above average-to-good semi-layered foamy lacing along the sides of the glass. Good retention on the top all the way down. (Sight - 4.38)
Smelled honey right away, then corn, corn cereal - Kix or Corn Pops, Cheerios, hay (even light manure?), grass and faint nutty malts. (Smell - 2.50)
Initial taste wasn’t terrible. Got hay, grassy malts, honey, cereal - Corn Pops, Corn Flakes, Cheerios and Kix, light menthol and faint cooked vegetables. (Taste - 3.00)
Light body. Oily texture. Average-to-soft carbonation. Abrupt, watery finish. Somewhat refreshing. (Feel - 3.00)
I was pleasantly surprised at this beer, at least for the style. That guy wasn’t completely right, but not a bad deal for the price ($1 per 16oz.). (Overall - 3.00)

500ml can smuggled back from Dubai by Joe M, thanks for the opportunity!
Crystal clear light golden color with a smallish quickly dissipating bubbly white head that leaves spotty lace on the sides of the glass. Aromas of light pilsener malt, light earthy hop, and light fruitiness. The flavor is quite sweet with malty sugars and faint bready malts. No hop flavor, but a hint of metal of ash is in there. Better than that cape verde beer, but nothing horribly exciting.
