Perfectly drinkable but not worthy of its hefty price tag in my neck o the woods.

Good name, crap lager. OK, this is drinkable, but so are many others. When there are decent and distinctive beers available why do people buy this stuff more than once? Image, I suppose.

1.8 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20
Yeah, ho hum. Typical pils style without any real grunt factor. Low hop aroma and flavour and a pretty thin body. The ones I have tried often have a cardboardy note as well.

3.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
A pleasant, somewhat light-bodied Dutch lager
without any frills. Yes, I know that's not much to say, but Oranjeboom is quite drinkable and beats the hell out of Bud!

1.7 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20
Typical clear golden yellow color with a thin, fizzy white head that diminishes rapidly. The aroma is slightly skunky with some hop and cardboard notes. It has a light body with moderate carbonation and a smooth mouthfeel. The flavor is malt and cardboardy, with a somewhat bland and watery finish. Not very good.

3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
This beer pours a light yellow color with little head and lacing on the glass. The aroma is slightly malty, but not strong at all. The flavor is very soft on the tongue and has all the good qualities of a pilsner. I give this one a thumbs up.

1.7 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20
Draught, at The Old Ivy.
Straw colour, with a bashful white head. Cheep corn and maize aroma, vacant taste, no finish to speak of. A waste of time quite frankly.

2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
i imagine this beer is to holland, what vb is to australia. it is quite watery and has a flavour you would describe as a typical dutch lager. it does have some malt which is good, but is still fairly bland and watery. it only cost $10 for a six pack though, which is very cheap for an imported beer.

Skunky nose (green bottle), ordinary watery yellow pilsener. Semi-dry European hop finish.

1.8 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
Bland Budweiser-like pilsener. Yellow with a hop skunkiness. Thin watery body. Weak beer. The "King of Beers" in The Netherlands, I'm sure... Guess this is why they gave it out for free at the sex show I went to in Amsterdam.
