A golden and refreshing pils beer from the Netherlands.

Did anyone else notice the ingredient list? Water, Barley, Hops. No yeast? Interesting. Average yellow pour. White head with some decent lacing. Warm caramel nose. Unlike U.S. megas there is no corn in this. So no sweet nose or corn syrup flavor. Very smooth. Low carbonation. Could use more hop bitterness though. But overall I like it. Paid $1 for a pint can @ Trader Joes. Not too shabby!

A classic beer that featured regularly in my youth. Cans, cheap. Tastes of lager. That is all.

I use to highlight the good stuff from things, specially from most beers I’ve tasted. This is a good beer in my opinion. I like its aroma, very floral-herb. It has also a good amber color, very carbonated and a good taste. Low bitterness, very malty.

typical european pale lager, aroma of hay and grass. tastes the same but with the tingle of alcohol. boring, but better than other pale lagers.

Can. 5.0%. Best before 13.03.14. Pours a clear pale yellow with a white head. Bit of lacing. Sweet cereal aroma, light hop note, fruity. Light cardboard note as it warms. Flavour is pretty much the same, with a grainy note. Remote metallic note as it warms. Finish is somewhat bitter, a bit tart, a bit grainy as well, with a lingering grassy note. Meh. 20.09.13.

UPDATED: SEP 6, 2013 Doesn’t smell or taste of too much, sweetish plus slightly bitter in the taste. Paler Golden Colour. Almost no head once it settled. Easy drinking. Doesn’t taste bad but doesn’t taste of much. I could happily drink it but there is so much more flavourful beer, and mass market lagers out there.

Can. Aroma is sweet of grass and straw. Lots of carbonation. Flavor is light with pale malts throughout.

Pint sized can from Trader Joe’s. Pours clear straw yellow with big white head. Aroma is sweet malt, caramel, generic grain. Taste is on the sweet side. Mild finish. Really watery. Nothing to seek out again.

Moderate carbonation. Bright straw body with a huge foamy head. Very musty with strange mineral qualities. Tastes like seawater - very salty and with rotten vegetables. Absolutely disgusting. Easily the worst beer I’ve had in quite some time. I wish it didn’t look decent in the glass because I would really like to rate this with 1’s across the board. Whoever makes this should be embarrassed.
