Dirt cheap lager at Kaldi Coffee. 118yen!! 5% very clear light straw gold color with a white head. I love the label, very retro. Kind of a minty grain aroma, the flavor is mostly grain, sweet odd flavor mid mouth like old gym socks? Possibly a hint of mint in the aftertaste. If you want something cheap I guess it is ok. You get what you pay for. Drinkable. Love the can though...

2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
Can from Kaldi Coffee store in Joyo Heiwado shopping center. Mild flowery nose, black tea, slight hop stink. Cloudy dull honey color, not much head. Thin malt initial, sweet pastry, slight spritziness in mid, a bit of hopping in final. Medium body. Kinda weird. Not unpleasant, exactly. But an overriding flatness and light sweetness are just about the whole of the thing.

Not much going on here, but purchased a 6’er of these talls today just for the sake of trying something new! Look, it’s an inoffensive brew with decent texture. Nothing unexpected; easy drinking.

Not exactly a good beer, but certainly is very drinkable and refreshing and non-offensive as far as mass-market lagers are concerned. Mildly bitter, slightly sweet tastes with a refreshing finish. Not something I’d seek out, but if I had a choice between most mass-market lagers and this, i’d choose this.

0,5 alu.can, pours a white-vanilla lively foam, and good carbonation with bubbles inside of mug.
Normal pilsner-colour. Aroma from hops and malts, as expected from a pilsner.
Mild hops, mild malts, some droplets of water. Aftertaste is gentle. Tasted it 3rd July 2013,
Vejlby Fed Denmark, and concluded that it goes well as a summer-beer. Serve chilled, alsjeblieft!

33cl bottle from Auchan (Luxembourg). Straw colour, not much aroma, light hops and not much head. Medium carbonation, watery and not much of a flavour. Dry end. Refreshing if cold.

Can @ Greg’s house picked up in the Midwest. Pours a fairly clear golden appearance with a thin white head. Vanilla, a bit corny, grainy aroma. Somewhat refreshing, but mostly dull, bland sweet grainy, straw flavor. Bleh.

Clear light yellow, quickly dissipating head, almosr no lacing. Thin and watery. Sweet corn, light bittee finish. Easy to drink but just like other lagers as easy to forget. Overall is Quite decent.
