Not exactly a good beer, but certainly is very drinkable and refreshing and non-offensive as far as mass-market lagers are concerned. Mildly bitter, slightly sweet tastes with a refreshing finish. Not something I’d seek out, but if I had a choice between most mass-market lagers and this, i’d choose this.

Pour from a can with a copper colour with a cloudy head and some lacing. All flavours are slight in appearance, slightly grainy, slightly citrus and ultra slightly bitter. Not horrible but not worth buying again. There are lots of beers like this out there.

I was pally disappointed to find this was a decent beer and not some sort of radler. Something has gone wrong with me and I’m not sure what. This brew is golden orange and clear. It’s head is small and of fine bubbles. I’d call this a Pilsner, probably, with lots of floral hops in the nose--though it is a bit mild for the style in terms of bitterness. This is just barely off dry which helps highlight that soft flowery character with a solid fresh cracked malt character as well. Texture is light yet full in the mouth. This finishes crisp with just a touch of lingering bitterness. This is a top notch beer and I’m embarrassed to have wanted it to be anything else.

Locally well-known and popular standard lager from Breda, apparently resurrected after it had been discontinued in 2005. Snow white, sticky, quite stable head, light golden blonde colour, clear. The usual pale malt aroma, some floral and grassy hops; light malt sweetish taste, relatively hoppy for the style, with a dry finish. Better than Jupiler or Stella Artois, in my opinion - at least in the old version.

500ml can. Clear gold pour, big white head. Nose has a little grass and some grains. Taste has grainy sweetness and a little grass. Aftertaste is grassy too. A little sweet, but drinkable.

Got it at the local supermarket and is not impressed. Nice foam, but disappears quickly. ordinary in taste. Might not taste the difference from a Carlsberg in blind tasteing.

Noted the ingredients; made with hop extract and colouring, so I wasn’t expecting much from this. Can - pours golden with a thin white head which gradually fades away. Aroma of some malt and tangerine. Taste is faintly of tangerine and lemon with a weak bitterness. A little stale and slightly sweet. Incredibly thin body and light carbonation. A little sticky. Fairly tasteless - lawnmower beer.
