Pale golden pour with a short lived white head. Intensely metallic and very sweet. Lots of corn, sugar, and some biscuit notes. Quite grainy and watery. Maybe some grass. Flavor is watery, sweet, and metallic. Lots of grain, corn, and water. Grassy hops, some yeast, and mild fruit esters.

imdownthepub (10326) - Banbury, Oxfordshire, ENGLAND - JUN 20, 2004
Bottled, pasteurised. Pale straw colour with carbonated head. Drank during Holland vs Czech Rep. game and just like the national side all fizz early on petering out to a staggering mish mash at the end. Thin metallic flavour with little hop character that you would expect in Dutch beers, poor value.

50 cl can. "Oranjeboom Original Dutch Lager". Clear yellow. Mild grain maltish aroma. Thin mouthfeel. Mild flavour, typical cheap pale lager... grainish bit with light malt....... hardly any bitterness.
