Maybe average but nothing excting or memorable. Better than tea but a weak brew.

Can pour fizzy and yellow with a frosty head. The aroma is faint and bready. The taste is light and crisp. There is some faint bitterness at the finish. Nothing special, it is a lager that does not stand out.

2.6 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Little to no retention and no lacing. Smells of sweet cereal and biscuit. Tastes of lemon grass and malty cereal. Very crisp aftertaste.

This one struck me as an odd blend of British and Euro-macro lagers combined. There is not much in the way of flavor on this one. Some subtle malt comes through, however there were also some slight plastic notes. Hop presence is minimal, but this is a fairly well balanced pale lager. Somewhat thicker on the palate than your typical Euro-macro. Overall not a bad beer for the price, 5.99 for 6 pint cans is hard to beat for this style.

Pint-sized cans are always a plus, but this beer basically reminds me of a euro-version Old Style that’s been heat-cycled a few times before you open it. It’s just unpleasant.

I found it drinkable, with not really much to it, I wouldnt pay as much as I payed for it again though. Leaves palate quickly, slight hop finish - nice lacy head. ok. cheers

Can be skunky, not a bad beer, but needs a little more body. Most Oranjeboom is not fresh, but it would be an ok beer if it were. Less bitter than other nederlander pilsners.
