I rarely drink beer out of cans due to the metalic taste, but I found this single at Trader Joe’s and decided to try it. Pours a clear gold, and has a fresh aroma of orchard fruits. Taste is typical of a cheap lager - slightly bitter, crisp, light-to-medium bodied, but a nice lingering aftertaste. Not a terrible beer, bot not really good either. Probably the Dutch version of Budweiser but with more taste, no rice and more alcohol.

0.33l bottle. Golden color with white head. Aroma is grainy, maltyand grassy. Taste is light bitter with some maltiness. Light to medium body. Overall it’s easy drinkable beer, but nothing more than that.

Poured into dof tumbler, pale with minimal head. Beer grains, has some aroma of cooked carrots. Not bad.

I bought this beer for some parties at Aligro in Chavannes. There is nothing extraordinary with this beer, it is ok when you are young and you would like to become drunk. The body is yellow and gold, thin foam, regular carbonation. The taste is watery, some hop, cereals, a bit metalic.

Aroma of burnt carrots. One finger head that fizzles out fast, mouthfeel slghtly bitter and sticky, taste is a harsh and grainy. Just like the American adjuncts it’s no good even for a thirst quencher but I have it slightly above the Coors and Budweisers of this world.

To be avoided. Does not give a nice mouthfeel or drinking experience. Pick another pilsener.

.5l can at a Seattle area Trader Joes. Finally, the crappy "premium" euro lager now in the States that we’ve all been clamoring for. I’m still waiting for the Van Pur invasions myself. Thicker sweet malt extract body. Brew by numbers. Pale, sweet with a touch of the required bitterness and a ’richer’ body from malt syrup. Drinks fine for what it is. Americans: this has less carbonation and more sweetness than you’re usually looking for in a pale, gluggable lager, so be forewarned.
