Look; fawn huge head, purple red body, thick lacing. Aroma; leafy live hops, modest dark malts, fruits and berries, inviting scents. Taste; soft hops, nutty malts, grass, bread, malted candies, cocoa - leading to a gentle malty finish. On palate fine. Overall; easy brew. Could’ve had more hops to give it more "ale’ish" touch. [50cl brown bottle, abv5%, BB20.08.15, B@Kvickly Middelfart DK]

Flaske 0,33 liter, smagt sommeren 2015,en ganske udemærket Brown Ale til prisen, købt som Dybbøl mølle øl.

Copenhagen 20/6 2015. 33 cl in the cafe at local library. Hugely overpriced. Boasting of a 13 years old biodynamic gold medal. Pours dark brown with off-white head. Settles as thin layer of foam. Sweet aroma with some caramel and a discrete bitterness. Medium carbonation. Taste is sweetish with some caramel and a little bit of metal. Only a very small degree of bitterness in aftertaste. An ok brown ale but nothing more. They call themselves "the small brewery with the big/great taste". Does not seem fully justified in this case.

Nice clear nutty color with a thick tan head. Ok lacing. Bready and roasted aroma. Medium body. Tad sweet and an ok bitterness. Average carbonation. Bready, toffee and roasted flavor. Decent brown ale.

0.5 bottle. Hazy, brown color, and a large, off-white head. Aroma of roasted malts, caramel, delicate chocolate, and grains. Taste is sweet, dry and malty; some obvious caramel, and a tad of dark chocolate. Medium body, slick texture, and average carbonation. Finish is medium long and a bit bitterer than the taste. Overall nothing special, that’s all folks.
