Bottle. Red brown colour with a big beige head. Very sweet light roasted, caramel malty aroma and taste. Medium body with a sweet finish.

Very dark brown with a red hue and a nice head. The aroma is malty and sweet. The flavour is like the average mainstream German Schwartzbier: Sweet, slightly watery, but it has a nice bitterness in the finish, where I also find light notes of licorice and coffee.

Bottle. Nice head with ok duration. Color is dark brown to black. Aroma is malts and citrus?? Taste is roast malt and a bit acidic too - odd combination with citrus in a schwarzbier.

Bottled. Dark amber coloured with a medium sized fast disappearing head. Roasted malt and hops. Light bitterness with a very faint hint of liquorice.

Dark brown with a off white head. (50 cl. bottle) Mainly malty taste - slighty roasted. Thin palate. Citric sweet taste .... short end! Easily forgettable!

Bottle. Pours a clear and dark brown beer with an offwhite head. The aroma is malt and roasted. The flavor is malt, sweetness and slightly burnt. The palate is dry. Overall an average beer.

Bottle. Dark brown with beige mostly diminishing head. Sweet caramel and a little note of burn malt. Has a ditictive metallic flavor underneath the hops. Short finish.

(Bottle 50 cl) Hazy, dark brown with a small, off-white head. Roasted malt aroma. Almost thin in the body, comes with a very high carbonation, dry and vaguely burned accents - almost no bitterness. Way too carbonated and lacking some character and personality. 240507

Bottle 0.5 l. Bought Superbrugsen, Ulleroed. Dark brown with small beige head. Aroma weak malty - soil? Taste bitter, roastedmalt, watery. Carbonation rich. A weak hob taste stays on the tongue. Nothing of the virility you would have expected from a horse.

Bottle at home. Brown with a beige head. Aroma moderate sweet (caramel, notes of smoke), light hoppy. Flavor moderate sweet, light bitter. Light/medium body, soft carbonated. A disappointment.
