2.3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20 Papsoe (25129) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - AUG 23, 2005
(Bottle 33 cl) Vintage 2004. Hazy amber coloured beer with a greyish touch. Head is completely absent. Malty, slightly sweet - I imagine I can actually taste the honey - and a touch of hops in the finish. Comes a bit flat and sloppy - as if the brewer had a bad day. 160105
1.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 7/20 jonas (5060) - Garching b. München, GERMANY - MAY 12, 2005
2004 Bottle from JensenTaster - thanks
Cloudy amber, low head.
Oaky, flowery (roses) and minerally aroma.
Flavor is mostly tinny rosebuds on thin hayish malt.
Fairly lightbodied - probably reduced by bottle-fermentation, slick mouthfeel, wooden aftertaste.
1.7 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 6/20 Jeppe (2631) - Ølbutikken, DENMARK - DEC 23, 2004
Hazy orange colored with a thin disappearing white head. Lots of honey in the aroma, unfortunately it doesn’t smell natural but quite artificial and cloying. Flavor is extremely thin and watery and taste more like honey water than beer. Weak hints of bitterness under the sweetness. I can’t believe how thin this is!
2.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 9/20 Ungstrup (26476) - Citizen of the universe, DENMARK - DEC 18, 2004
A hazy orange beer with a small disappearing white head. The aroma is dominated by honey from clover. While the flavor also is dominated by honey but combined with notes of straw. But the body is extremely thin.
2.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 8/20 madsberg (8939) - Søborg, DENMARK - DEC 18, 2004
Bottled: Golden coloured. Clear. No head what so ever. Loads of honey in the aroma. Some sweetness and fruitcharackters is trying to match the honey, but they fail. Is somewhat citric in the flavour. Again the honey is dominant. The beer is extremely thin bodied. A very light bitterness can be spotted way back on the palate. One of the pourer attemps from Ørbæk
2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 12/20 JensenTaster (1719) - DENMARK - NOV 12, 2004
(on botlle 2004 edit.) oilish deep yellow color and no head, it dosen´t look like a treat. But the somewhat special aroma is mead meats smoke meats beer; plesant very it is. Taste a bit like liquor. The hopping is not amazing and at best, not present. Also needs some serious carbonation to be drank by the bottle.
1.9 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 7/20 Hansen (5468) - Assentoft, DENMARK - OCT 17, 2004
No head. Yellow colour, and a bit unclear. Perhaps some honey in the aroma, but both aroma and flavor is too sweet. Thin beer.
