2.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Cloudy brown. Aroma mostly of caramel malt. Sweet and rather thin caramel flavour. Carbonated harder than an industrial pilsner, which is not the way to please me.

2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottle at home. Pours a clear brown with an off-white head. Quite sweet with some aromas of malts. Slightly dry hopsprophile. Same malt-yeast aromas as in mant Ørbæk beers. Tiny hint of nuts. Medium to light body. Ever so slightly buttery mouthfeel. Medium carbonation. Light dry finish. Boring.

500 ml bottle. From Denmark.
Dark brownish amber colour with big beige head. Sweet nutty aroma. Quite warming feel for a 5% beer. Well carbonated. Flavour could be more interesting. Nutty it is. 200.

The most remarkable think about this beer is it incredible Gruyere cheese aroma, nice amber color, with very soft hops at the end and subtle nut taste. Interesting to try

2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Bottle. Pours a hazy amber-brown with a big, but diminishing beige/off-white head. Malty and citric hoppy aroma; quite hoppy for a brown ale me thinks, although it becomes less as it warms, and is overtaken by notes of nuts. Has a certain dryness. Flavour is sweet caramel malt. Citric hops as well as fruity and metallic notes as it warms. Not as much hops as in the aroma though. Finish is more malty, in a bit of a cloying way, but not too bad. Has a lingering mild bitterness which has some resemblance of red wine and some lingering apple notes. Not bad, but not too interesting either, although the hops in the aroma had me a bit surprised. 20-10-08.

Dark amber, tiny white head. Nutty, toffee, meat/fat aroma. Taste... nutty! God, subtle bitterness. Very enjoyable.

2.6 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Ruby-brown body with a small head what diminishes quickly. Some toffee aroma, but not a powerful attack on the nose... Mediocre aroma of nut and toffee, sweet caramel( yes, it is nutty...), some roasted taste. Nothing exciting, drinkable...

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottle @ SOPP. Reddish brown to dark copper, off-white head. Little berry-sourish, syrupy malty aroma. Some nuts, if imagine hard enough. Similar flavor, little buttery malts, maybe a bit more pronounced nuttiness. Light to medium bodied, bulk like foamy carbonation.

2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
0.5 l bottle at SOPP 2008, Helsinki. Reddish amber color with fading head. Malty, caramelly and nutty aroma. Nutty, toasty and caramelly flavor with hints of pine. The maltiness is distracted by fizzy carbonation.

3.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle. Just a bit of sweet aroma, could be notes of caramel. Medium body with a nice caramel flavor which feels a bit warm and smooth. Somewhat low in carbonation - but thats just fine by me for this type of beer.
