2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
A Sim rate (Draught at Københavnske Øldage): Looks weak from the get go. Very very slight nut and chocolate in the aroma, but mostly smells of malt and a typical dark lager. Nothing fancy or gutsy about it.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 14/20
Dark cobber colour with a two finger high yellowish head that quickly dissapates into a thin "lit" covering the beer. Minerally, bit malty with hints of almond to the nose. Sweet with a lot of recidual sugars that gets a bit cloaring. Lightly hopped with a fine bittering over the palate. Maltyness and hops are in a fine ballance. The body is medium to full. Over all a nice Northern English styled brown ale.

Aroma dominated by nuts and malt.
Taste very nutty and sweet (good reason for the name) A little one dimensional but easy drinkable.

Caramel, butteracid and diacetyl. This is the final impression of this brown ale. Another mainstream, but ok for non-RB’s, beer from Ørbæk.

2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
White head on a brown body. It does taste like nuts, there is also a sweet aftertaste, not too bitter and well balnaced. Refreshing, good for the transition between Winter and Spring.
