COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

Bottle, 50cl. Drank on a sunny, almost spring-kind-of day. Pours golden, yellow and cloudy hazy. White-off creamy head. Citrus and hobby aroma, floral and crisp. Slight sweeet aroma, followed by heavy hobs and bitterness. Earthy aftertaste. Not very balanced. Medium body and soft-to-average carbonation. Decent but nothing special.

This is not the beer I drank. I drank India Pale Ale from Ørbæk but this ØPA is what came up when I scanned it. I did not find out how to add the real one.... But a fine IPA ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Shared bottle. Meget bitter. Ikke så meget toner af frugt. More bitter than fruity, not my kind of IPA.

50 cl bottle from Fotex Aabenraa. Pours clear light amber, with a large whitish head that recedes fairly quickly. Lots of sticky lacing remain throughout. Aroma of toasty malts, with a sharp bitter bite. Flavor also features the aromatic hops with a bit of hay as well. Light to medium body, ample carbonation, lingering aftertaste. Wasn’t sure what to expect from this Danish bottle, but I was pleased....

Bottled. It’s a quite a few years since I last had this. Back then i really liked it a lot, especially as a quencher after running. So how do I like it now? has my tastebuds gone mad or? Well, it’s ok, albeit not exciting, in any way. Slightly hazy orange with an ok white foamy head. Aroma is citrus hoppy with some light maltiness. Flavor is sweet light malty and quite heavy bitter with notes of hay and - not at least - grass. Quite light bodied, A little dry hoping would help I suppose. But it’s way better than the boring IPA that Ørbæk also produces.

Bottle from TW, thanks. Thinn beige lace. Golden color. Hoppy aroma with some honey and baby spit. Fresh hoppy taste with dry finnish.
