COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Ørbæk Queen Extra is a fullbodied lager with a fresh flavour. It is lightly hopped and has a light red/golden colour. Ørbæk Queen is modelled after the german beerstyle Dortmunder, which in its composition of maltstyles (among others Münchner and Vienna) gives this beer its character.

Bottle. A light smell of hops, light malty. The head is quite large, foamy with a long duration. The body is pale yellow. The taste is light bitter and metallic. The head is light with a lively carbonation and dry.

Clear medium yellow orange color with a large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is light moderate malty, hay - grass, moderate hoppy, flowers, grass, light moderate yeasty, soap - perfume. Initaial flavor is moderate sweet and bitter, middle flavor is moderate sweet and bitter, finish flavor is moderate sweet and moderate to light heavy bitter with a long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20091104]

Yellow with a low head. Floral aroma, lots of grass and mash. It starts out a bit watery and thin, dominated by floral hops and the sweetness from the malts. Then the bitternes kicks in, dry and metallic.

33cl bottle at home clear yellow, large white head. sweet malty, faint fruity, nice hoppy aroma too. flavor is bitter , flowery (both probably from hops), malty , a little bit of oxidation (sunburned beer), overall nice quite bitter a little sweet, some hops.
