The flagship beer of this Bellingham, WA brewery is a classic West coast pale ale. Assertively fruity and hoppy.

UPDATED: MAR 8, 2003 Light amber in color with a thin head. Hoppy aroma with a touch of caramel, icetea, and nutty aromas. Dry flavor with a grapefruit finish. Seems pretty weak to me.

A typical northwest pale ale. Medium malt lots of hop aroma a little less of a hop bite at the end than many of its competitors nothing special here just another exceptional Northwestern U.S. Micro brew

Had on tap at the brewery, looked great and had a decent aroma. Nice and tasty hops and a rather memorable finish. However, I feel that the Porter is by far the best Orchard Street beer, so those of you out there looking for a great one from this brewery try the Porter.

UPDATED: FEB 23, 2003 Nice creamy head...'apple-like' hop aroma, Hoppy but completely balanced by the malts, could use a more hoppy finish but besides that its pretty good, nice creaminess also

origianl 9/3/2002; Not too impressed, prehaps I got a bad batch. Glowing gold color and a rocky head. A little citrus in the nose and a slightly thin mouthfeel. Very herbal and a bit grassy. A bit green. Rerate; Much better this time around. Malts nicley rounded and more of a hop presence. Lost the grassy edge to a slightly nutty finish.

Good color, poor aroma. Sort of a weak pale ale however.

Nice hop aroma. Medium amber color. Smells and tastes quite simililar to Sierra Nevada Pale Ale, however if I had the choice between the two I would always choose SNPA.

Unfortunately to me it seems that OSB’s lighter styles of beer just don’t deliver as well. Fruity hop aroma, palate is light, tastes a little watery. Slight flavor of grapefruit. It is okay but it cought be better.

Medium amber color, small head. Medium malts, medium hops. Full flavor, smooth taste. Good balance. Nice round mouthfeel. A very nice beer. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly bitter.
