COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Available in 500 ml bottles, 1000 ml demijohns and on draught from 10 & 20 litre boxes, or 5 gallon barrels.
A traditionally made cider with fine tannins and a strong character. The addition of a little sugar at the bottling stage has created a very smooth drink.

Hazy, yellowish. Still, not a bubble in sight. Smells of apples and oak. The taste is heavy sour. Far too sour, it made my little tummy ache.

Small white head quickly disappears. Hazy yellow body. Sulphury apple and barnyard aroma with indeterminate fruity notes. Dry-sweet-acidic empty mealy apple taste with sulphury wooden notes. Fullish body. Mild, rounded mouthfeel. Dry alcoholic wooden aftertaste. Decent, but I just don’t like these flavours. (0.5l bottle shared by gr0ve.)

My first cider rating! :-) Pours a murky orange-brown body with no head, although I see some bubbles down there somewhere. Smell is very yeasty and vinous, with barnyard funkiness and some earthy tones. Taste is dry and fruity at the same time, with plenty of basement aromas and yeast. Very low on sweetness and a well-disguised alcohol content. Drinkable and pleasant, but not anything that blows my mind. Bonus points in my book for being a dry and yet fruity cider; that’s one of my favorite styles.

500 ml bottle. Slightly hazy golden body with close to no head and low carbonation. Relatively mild, but well pronounced aroma of ripe apples with a hint of mould and wood. Exactly as real cider is about by the way. Flavor is similar to the aroma, a real, ripe apples flavor with hint of mould, cellar notes and wood. Maybe a bit to mild and soft, could also have some more acid to be more than an average cider. Not particular exiting, but still very nice compared to those f**ing fake wannabe ciders like Somersby etc. that only contains 15% of apple juice and has nothing to do with a cider at all.
