2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
30/11 On tap at the brewpub. Brewed with some special Asturian emmer, said to be older than other emmer species. It poured hazy pale yellow body with medium sized head. A bit stale, rotten vegetable aroma, slightly lemony with an interesting spicy side note. Flavor was lightly sweetish, a bit chalky and somewhat bitter herbal towards finish, which is especially felt as it warms, adding to its character. Thin in body, short, slightly acidic, herbal and wheat finish. Although it was quite unimpressive, it had some interesting notes and Im glad Ive tried it.

2.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
On tap at Ca Beleņo brewpub. Brewed with organic "escanda"(spelt) from Asturias. Some sweet and berries aromas. Pours pale gold, really few hints of haziness being quite clear for this style(itīs said not to be filtrated but it looks like). Light body and flat carbonation. Nice white head, quite persistent, poor lacework. Tastes fruity and some malty, no yeast or wheat/spelt flavours. Aftertaste is somehow bitter. Lack of "strenght".
