Aroma – Nice malt flavoring with a light hops backing.
Appearance – Dark Amber in color, Thin head and clear.
Flavor – Good malt flavor the mixed malts added quite nicely. Liked the hosp where not too much either.
Palate – Nice Mouthfeel, good texture with a dry finish.
Overall – I could drink this all day. Loved the crisp and fresh flavor of the beer. This could be a staple beer if I lived near here.

Dec 17, 2007 On tap at Corvallis brewpub--Dry and hoppy amber colored beer with a nice roasted aftertaste. It appears that OT is more concerned with flavor than alcohol content in their beers. Nice!

Nov 27, 2007 The guy pouring beers made a point to tell me it was only a brown ale NOT a nut brown ale. Well this beer had a huge nutty and malty aroma. Flavor a bit on the dry side. Smooth mouthfeel. The best they had on tap at the deli.

Oct 13, 2007 on tap-pours a tan head and mahogany color. Aroma is molasses-caramel some hops. Taste is molasses-caramel some hops.

deep mahagoney with a thin head and thick lace, slightly sweet and fruity malt aroma, lots of roasted malt with hints of chocolate, well balanced with assertive hops, slight bitter finish
