Very acidic and sharp - and we found out why from one of the assistant brewers. They use certain type of malt (the exact name slips my mind) that alone has a very sharp, bitter citrus-like flavor... strange for sure, but it gives this witbier a flavor like it’s been mixed with concentrated lemon juice... which is actually REALLY tasty, since it sort of mimics a lambic sourness. This wit had it all: a bust of active, peppy lemon and wheat zest followed by a sweet fruit and creamy body. Unique if nothing else. DarkElf (2681), La Jolla, California, USA

Spice/coriander and orange peel out in front, but I’m getting a fair amount of bitterness too. Strong coriander nose with some hops in the mix. Light body with a long-lasting bitterness on the palate. Hazy, medium straw colored, with a small white head. Deep six the bitterness and I’d like this more. beerguy101 (3885), Newark, California, USA

Slightly spicy on the aroma, with a hint of orange,.
Again in the taste the spice shows up and the slight citric taste, the wheat taste is evident, carbonation feels good.
On the palte its pretty average fir the style.
It was a hot day in Corvallis and this one went down rather well.
