Quack-Duck (1756), Bodensee, Germany May 3, 2008 bottle, bought at a supermarket in Potsdam back in 2005. Clear golden yellow, medium-sized head. Malty and aromatically hoppy, well-balanced with a fruity touch.
MiP (5039), Flensburg, Germany Dec 7, 2006 Bottle, 5.1%. The name is right, so must be a change in alcohol level. Bought in Germany. Refreshing, slightly acidic aroma. Golden colour, small white head. The flavour is quite malty, a little sweet. Beginning breadiness, but not a problem (not past BB date). Medium bitterness and a little aroma hops. OK pils. dortmunder (961), Herdecke, Germany Apr 7, 2005 Bottled. This is an export beer by Pivovar Jihlava, brewed for the German or Austrian market. Hoppy aroma with hints of vegetables. Pretty dry, hoppy and bitter aftertaste. Drinkable and much dryer than almost all other Czech pilsners I´ve had.
