2.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
I am not a fan of Belgian beers at all, but this was definitely my favorite. Nice taste of citrus and not over-spiced.

5th Annual MBG Winter Beer Festival, Grand Rapids. Murky medium orange-brown body, thin off-white to buff head. Caramely, herbal, hoppy nose. Hoppy, resinous body, soapy, with tangy fruit. Fair complexity, decent beer.

Sample at OG. Clear gold pour with a thin white head. Belgian yeast strain that is both banana-ish and peppery with some sweet malt and clove mixed in. Flavor is also banana and pepper with some bitter hops in the finish.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Draft sample at Original Gravity. Poured a hazy yellow color with an average fizzy white head that mostly lasted with good lacing. Moderate sweet citrus, yeast and sweet malt aroma. Medium body with a smooth texture and soft carbonation. Medium tingly yeasty sweet flavor with a medium sweet soft finish of moderate duration. Good drinkable brew.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
On tap at MBG Summer Festival. Poured a clear gold with a white head. Aroma was sweet and full of fruity and floral notes. Flavor was quite basic with some sweet yeasty notes and some banana as well. I thought the name described the beer well.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Sample at the brewpub. This brew is a clear orange-gold color with a wispy white head that burns away to a patch in the center and a ring on the outer rim. Spotty lacing. Aroma of fruit and mild spices plus a touch of yeast. Light, clean body with flavors of citrus and sweet fruits, yeast and spices. The finish is lightly fruity with a mild spice aftertaste. Overall the name pretty much spells out what to expect here, and the beer is decent for what it is.
