2.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20 reebtogi (3262) - Edmonton, Alberta, CANADA - APR 29, 2013
Pint on tap a while ago at Original Joe’s in Edmonton pours a pale golden color with a small white head that disappears quickly and leaves no lacing behind. Aroma is light grains and grass. Light bodied with typical carbonation for the style. Not too appealing and not recommended.
2.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20 DuffMan (5194) - the land of bitumen, beef & beer, Alberta, CANADA - APR 10, 2013
On tap, Original Joe’s Medicine Hat. Not sure how this is considered an ale in this database when it is actually called a lager... but whatever. Medium golden with a thin white head that is gone within 5 minutes (same as the amber-- headless beers). Aroma and flavour are sweet grains, with just a hint of toast. Not bad, but I liked the pils much more.
0.7 AROMA 1/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 1/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 3/20 Cinctus (110) - - NOV 23, 2012
Drinkable only as it’s on tap. Boring, palateless and fizzy. A regular, rubbish beer, reminiscent of other more popular beers.
1.8 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20 cards04 (826) - Steinbach, Manitoba, CANADA - OCT 20, 2012
about as boring and uninteresting as a beer can get. Flavourless, no aroma. Beer flavoured water.
2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20 dreamflower (343) - Steinbach, Manitoba, CANADA - AUG 23, 2012
Slightly darker than the Original Joe’s pilsener, and a bit sweeter, too, but it tastes kind of cheap and watered down overall, but better than some of their other beers.
2.1 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20 northropfrye (1352) - Steinbach, Manitoba, CANADA - AUG 23, 2012
Golden colour, not much head. Not much aroma. A bit of sweet bready flavour but overall not very good.
